Rook had a nice game. This coaching staff schemed him open, but he caught quite a few sub-optimal passes for sure.

When Jones is in trouble he has a safety valve. The Bellinger Escape Plan, if you will.

Dumb social media posts. Rap albums. More injuries. This isn't worth it for 20 plays a year. The dude is just taking up a roster spot at this point.

Which hamstring has the rap career? I think that's the one that's really hampering him.

Also, for the record, Jones has a weak arm. I'm tired of hearing all the "he has the best deep ball in the league" bullshit. His arm is weak throwing simple outs, and watch his receivers... they have to stop or slow down on literally all of his deep throws this year. He's certainly passable but we could do a hell of a lot better there. Yes, he had an awesome deep ball percentage that year that we threw six passes downfield the entire season. Jones is not a deep ball quarterback. Just fucking stop with that shit.

Golladay should immediately go on IR with that ankle. All he does is take up a roster spot; he brings nothing to the table.

I've changed my mind. I want him to knock out Dave Gettleman now.

He doesn't look that much better than Tyrod Taylor, to be honest. Jones looks uncomfortable and is slow in his reads. He's a gritty kid and a selfless leader and in those regards I like him a lot, but he's not an NFL starter.

He's good. Any other MLB on the team doesn't get out there that fast.

Love him. Hopefully can contribute over the second half of the season, even as a backup.

I'm thinking he might get us a third at the trade deadline.
