  1. Cordale Flop is not big enough to play in the NFL
  2. I keep hearing this but every time I looked the dude sure looked like Matt Peart.
  3. It is definitely strange, but I'll note that this team let Jerry Reese run the franchise into the ground for 13 years. Is that mentioned in the article? Minorities of Sportswrath, what is your verdict? I've always seen the Giants as one of the more progressive franchises but my perspective is from a middle-aged white guy.
  4. Dude is gonna see us get blown out by 30+ points this weekend and he'll make the easy pick.
  5. I often go back and forth on this. Would I have rather had Micah Parsons or the Toney picks and Even Neal? Jury is still out for now but Parsons looks like the better deal... wouldn't surprise me if Parsons self-destructs at some point though.
  6. Didn't come back to the game and is not questionable for next week's game. The Don'Kareous Phoney hype sure was fun for two weeks though.
  7. I think we're in good shape at the tackles barring injuries (even Tyre Phillips has been a decent fill-in). We need at least one more interior o-lineman for sure; I'd argue we need at least two (center and guard). If I were to pick based on need right now, I'd say: WR CB MLB Subject to change based on free agent additions or losses.
  8. It's not so much that we're regressing I feel, as much as it's injuries and bad luck. We won our first game on a missed FG. Last year, we lost the Commanders game on a missed FG. We beat the Panthers largely because Baker Mayfield couldn't hit the broad side of a barn... not because we played well. There was also a kickoff fumble and a fumble at Carolina's 40. We beat the Ravens on a really dumb final series by Lamar Jackson. Last year's team loses that game. Just those three games alone would make us a 4-6 team, which I feel is a more accurate view of the talent level we've got. Throw literal third-stringers in at vital positions like RT, LG, WR, CB, and Safety and it's not hard to see why the team doesn't look as good.
  9. Yeah but... when your GM's draft strategy is "let's draft a DT, then I'm going to trade for a DT... afterwards, let's draft a DT then maybe draft a DT," I think the coaches kind of run out of places to put them.
  10. He does a lot of things that don't show up on the Stat sheet, and that's fine for the first half of the season. We're on the back nine now and he needs to start making plays.
  11. The way I saw it: 1. Peart, Glowinski, Felciano, and Lemieux are bad, and that was nearly the entire starting line. Not passable, not serviceable... bad. 2. Aside from the o-line injuries, our two starting CBs were out. When I saw Jackson back there on that opening punt the first thing I said was "shit;" the dude is made out of glass and we've been fortunate that he's been healthy so far. That was a dumb move. 3. Jones just flat-out had a bad game. Those INTs were both terrible. 4. This WR corps (besides maybe Wan'dale) is not NFL caliber. Slayton has been ok but even when he catches the ball he double clutches it. He very easily could have had two more drops. 5. Not gonna lie, we've been lucky this year and today it ran out. I do not expect us to be competitive on Thanksgiving unless we get more guys back from injury.
  12. Needs to start doing something.
  13. But man, did you see that catch today! That was a like a six-million dollar grab!
  14. Looked like a Gettleman draft pick today.
  15. Also, Matt Peart is a 320lb vagina.
  16. That's it. First place was a neat idea but I guess we don't want it.
  17. Looking forward to adding another 2 catches for 14 yards each month!
  18. I got into several discussions on Reddit in the offseason with people who were angry that we didn't hire Ed Dodds to be our GM. "The Colts are the model of NFL success!" "Look at their rebuild, it's exactly what you want!" I had no idea what those fucking people were talking about. They had a surefire HOF quarterback retire early because the team around him was so poor, they blew money/picks on the Jacoby Brisettes and Carson Wentzes of the league, and since 2010 their record falls into the "statistically average" category in the past twelve years. And oh yeah... zero Super Bowls since Manning left as well. How is this the "model of the NFL franchise?" People sure are dumb.
  19. I mean... was it really that dumb? It was a guided tour with people, it's not like he went and bought one himself and was doing wheelies off dirt jumps in his back yard.
  20. I hear you man, and I'm not saying that Jones might not end up being a very good QB. It's year four and we still don't know if he's any good or not because he's had like... zero good players around him. I HOPE he ends up being a top-end QB, but I don't think you throw your money at hope, you throw it at known quantities. Jones isn't that yet, and I wouldn't give him a big contract until he shows it for real.
