  1. That's another thing... how fucking complicated is Gilbride's offense if a guy who's been here since fucking JUNE still can't figure it out... and his job is to have the ball handed to him and run with it?
  2. Guess we'll have to hope that Randle pulls his head out of his ass, otherwise 2012 has the looks of a bust draft already.
  3. Those 5-0 Jaguars would have a hard time against the "0-5 Jaguars." Jeez, doesn't anyone on the internet edit their shit before they publish?
  4. Remember, Eli had his best years when Sullivan was his QB coach.
  5. Why is it that Wilson fumbles twice and ends up in Coughlin's doghouse, but Rueben Fucking Randle's shitty routes have resulted in 6 picks and he's still playing each week? I never thought I'd say this, but Randle is dumber than Mario Manningham.
  6. I'm not sure I'm beating on him... but it's tough to be flowers and sunshine when your guy has thrown 15 picks in six games. I'd love to see Sullivan and Romeo Crennel, or Lovie Smith. Why we didn't go after those guys THIS offseason is beyond me.
  7. For the record, I'm not saying we should outright replace Eli. I'm saying he should be put on notice. The guy is a two-time Super Bowl MVP and deserves a shitty season, or even two, before he's out... and Gilly should definitely go before Eli does. Now, that being said, Kerry Collins was a pretty darn good quarterback when he was in New York, and that didn't stop us from taking our franchise guy to lead the team for the next ten years. If and when we're statistically out of the playoffs, it'll be time to see if Ryan Nassib has what it takes to compete at the NFL level. If not, then getting a new QB should at least be on the table... we can't get by with another year of play like this out of a guy making 22 million, and it's time to start looking at "plan B" for if Eli doesn't recover from this.
  8. I guess he figured if he couldn't destroy America with WMD in Iraq, he'd destroy us from within by ruining the NFL.
  9. After watching highlights (or lowlights) of last night's game, I'm ready to say that it may be time to start looking for the next QB of the Giants. There's been enough excuses, and yes, there's plenty of blame... but those picks were just fucking terrible. I'm not saying we should get rid of Eli (unless a team like the Raiders wants to give up the house for him), but he hasn't ever looked this bad, rookie year included. He's clearly going backwards.
  10. I didn't watch the game but I took a peek at the play-by-play... Beason's name came up a lot.
  11. Coughlin has the same guys that were with him in Jacksonville, and that's what got him the boot there, too. On the other hand, players have so many supplements to make them big these days, but connective tissue grows nowhere near as quickly. As a result, you get sprains and tears because the ligaments and tendons can't keep up with the added bulk.
  12. I'm sure this is exactly what the founding fathers envisioned when they wrote that Second Amendment.
  13. Super Bowl! (For Chicago)
  14. I'd say so too. He's been getting consistently better since his rookie season... though he was injured for most of it.
  15. Well, his rookie year it was "he's a rookie." Then he had a great season. Then it was "he played the whole season with an injury." Now it's "he's recovering from surgery." I think the fans want less excuses and more production.
  16. "Miss him?" Dude, we've got Jason Pierre-Paul! He makes two plays a month!
  17. It's really hard to tell. No running game, no blocking, receivers not doing much. On the other hand, Eli has been an enigma his entire career. We get a late-season slump annually, and sometimes he turns it on in the playoffs and we win the Super Bowl... sometimes he throws 3 picks in the playoffs against the Panthers. I think we know what we've got. A wildly inconsistent QB, that just happens to be a two-time Super Bowl MVP.
  18. Honestly, I think everyone from the team is expendable for trades, Eli included. That being said, I'm not sure who'd want Nicks when they can have him in the offseason.
  19. Will Hill looked like a player today. Jonathan Hankins showed up and was a disruptive force, as were ost of the DTs. The line improved from abysmal to merely below average.
  20. Everybody. Everyone deserves the blame. GM, personnel, and coaching. They all suck. Strange to see all levels collapse so thoroughly at once.
  21. What! And miss out on the next Greg Jones or Phillip Dillard? You're crazy!
  22. Snee had off-season surgery on his hip on the other side. He's been in rough shape now for a while.
  23. That, and the Clint Sintims and Phillip Dillards of the world are making me think you're right.
