I'll give you Cruz and Hynoski, who are both good-to-great players but but honestly Temp, the rest of those guys are schlubs. Mark Herzlich? Spencer Paysinger? We're really having this conversation? In the meantime, Rueben Randle is currently better known for fucking up routes than making plays, and Will Beatty graded out as the third worst tackle in football last year. You don't make the playoffs with those guys as starters on your team. So yeah, I'll stick by "two NFL caliber starters drafted from those four years that stayed on the team." That's not acceptable.

1. This team might be competitive if it doesn't consistently shoot itself if the foot. On that note, 2. What the fuck ever happened to "high and tight?" Victor Cruz, Larry Donnell, Ruben Randle... none of these guys protect the ball when they run with it. The only guy I saw all day with good ball security was Jennings; its no wonder we're leading the league in giveaways when everyone holds the ball like a loaf of bread 3. The O-line is really starting to come together. I expected Watts to go off today and he had a few big plays for sure but all things considered we held him relatively in check. 4. Eli is proving the Gilbride haters right. Looks like he's a good quarterback when his offense doesn't involve seven-step drops, 4 guys running fly patterns, and 12 pre-snap reads on every play. 5. Hankins is twice the player Linval Joseph was. Dude has already shown up for more big plays than Joseph did all of last year. Not to say "I told you so," but...

Point me out four good starters on the team from those drafts.

J.J. Watt has 4 sacks. The defense gets two picks. Giants win a squeaker.

Nicks is showing everyone why the Giants didn't resign him. As for Bradshaw, he'll be awesome for the four weeks he plays until his feet break again.

To a degree I think its true you can't predict injuries, like with Wilson... but when you're drafting Terrell Thomas in round 2 and he's had an ACL and shoulder injury, what do you expect? Sometimes it works out (Tuck, Armstead) but oftentimes it backfires. In the other hand, you can't excuse Reese for 2009-2012. Aside from Mook and JPP I'd argue we didn't get a single NFL caliber starter from those FOUR drafts who's still on the team. No matter how you slice it that's just not acceptable.

I usually go for a hike or go kayaking, weather permitting. I remember eight or nine years ago... we were losing by 3 TDs to the Eagles in the 4th... I got fed up and went hiking. On the way back I'm listening to Sirius NFL radio and think I hear them say, "well, of course, the Giants had a miracle comeback today but really lets focus on the Jets..." It was either Rex Ryan's rookie year with the team or the year they had Brett Favre on the team, so who wants to talk about the Giants against all THAT excitement, right? In any event, I'm not sure if I hear them right, so I get home and check the score... sure enough, it's the game where Plax catches a bomb from Eli to win the game. Awesome game that I missed the ending to, but I did catch all the highlights.

Aren't you in Canada? Get GamePass. Its 200 bucks for the season. It does get kind of funny from time to time, but overall its worked a lot better than those .eu sites that have six zillion pop up ads. I'll pay the money to not have the headache of trying to find a good stream.
