That's what's great about McAdoo so far. When something works, he sticks with it. Gilbride got a little better later on in his career but I don't know how many times we'd see the Giants run for 14, run for 27, then throw three incomplete passes. That Eagles playoff game in 2009 was a prime example of it... why the fuck was Eli throwing the ball 40 times into 40mph winds when our running game was averaging 6.0 per clip? Loving the Big Daddy Mac offense. Stick with something until they stop it.

Can we get serious for a second? Somebody is going to throw the house at Suh and we'll draft someone in the 2nd. And I like that just fine.

Yeah I don't get this either. Paysinger is at least a serviceable backup... definitely not starter material, but can plug a hole if needs be for 1-2 weeks. Herzlich actually hurts you whenever he's in there.

He's done really well so far, but teams haven't been paying attention to him. That's going to change after this game, so we'll see how he does going forward. I'd have to put him officially into the "good" category though, at least as a receiver.

And get this... the Giants opponents for the first three games are a combined 7-2. "Easy part of the schedule" my ass. The Giants still aren't a good team right now, but they might be an average one... and average teams can ascend to be good ones.

Remember that one year Michael Vick threw like 7 picks the whole year? How'd his career go after that?

I was just saying that to my fiancee the other day. Last week, the stat in the fourth quarter was, "The Giants have lost 7 of 8 games in September!" What was the stat yesterday? "Coughlin and Eli have been together longer than any other QB/Coach duo today, and are the 3rd best all-time!" Fucking idiotic. Another reason to start hating the NFL.

Hey, on the bright side, we did get the awesome, AWESOME Jaquian Williams out of Reese, who is good for at least two passes in the flat per game where he's trailing the TE/FB by at least five yards. You can't teach speed!
