  1. I remember two years ago he destroyed us in the opener.
  2. Lets take an objective look at the Giants/Cowboys game: Cowboys O vs. Giants D EDGE: Cowboys Giants O vs. Cowboys D EDGE: Cowboys (a huge edge if the O-line doesn't show up again) Giants vs. Dallas Special Teams EDGE: C'mon, you're not fucking serious are you? The Giants have no shot in this game. None. We are the best of the mediocre teams. The Cowboys are not a mediocre team.
  3. This article was actually really encouraging.
  4. I don't get it either. Dallas has a better offense, defense, and special teams.
  5. Is it just me, or is his career effectively over? I can't think of a single player who came back from a patellar tear and was the same guy after the surgery.
  6. The Giants are what they are, and what they are is the best of the mediocre teams.
  7. Just looked up the stats... unfortunately I got one right.
  8. They're pretty useless. They had Schwarz rated as one of the highest guards in preseason, and well... we all saw him play.
  9. ...because I was pretty sure I knew which Giants team showed up. Can I guess what happened? 1. The line was terrible and Eli had no time to throw. 2. Eli threw at least one pick or had one strip sack. 3. JPP talked shit all week and then didn't show up. 4. The Giants were called for at least eight penalties. 5. Shady McCoy "finally got untracked" and rushed for 150. Am I close?
  10. Oh yeah, McCoy rushes for 150.
  11. Giants outplay the Eagles in every aspect, but lose due to 2 special teams TDs and a fumble return TD.
  12. Lets not forget than in that same season, he missed three EXTRA POINTS.
  13. 9-7, and 8-8 is a real possibility.
  14. Giants outplay the Eagles, but get burned on special teams (stunner, I know).
  15. A Jason Tuck cousin, I believe.
  16. Dude is a beast. Always seems to fall forward for 2-3 extra yards.
  17. This is EXACTLY what I was saying. Though I do think he'll stick around for a few more seasons.
  18. I for one don't know where we'd find a WR to provide 95 yards after four games. Those kinds of guys don't just grow on trees.
  19. i wrote the same thing in another thread. If you take a look at Gilly's offense, it's always "three guys run flys or posts while another guy runs a square out or in." It's really uncreative and it's pretty amazing Eli did as well as he did in that offense... it's a lot of high-risk, low-percentage throws.
  20. Because after four weeks, Hakeem Nicks is setting the world on fire.
  21. Take a look at this highlight film. Yeah, they're all Eli's big plays from two years ago... but watch how uncreative Gilly's offense is. 80% of the pass plays involve 3 receivers running fly patterns (and usually either the upback or the outside guy running a square-in). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LKyQI8lFug
  22. I have no problem with this once a player retires, but why the fuck would you want to honor someone who's trying to score points for the other team? "Yes... Osi is a great player, and a great man. Lets hope he gets 3 sacks on Eli today, because we really like him so much... so much, we didn't re-sign him." It just doesn't seem to make any sense on any level.
