Yeah but San Fran is running a pretty weird club these days. They interviewed him, and I think a small handful of others, Fangio never got a second interview, but they won't let him talk to other teams. Could be they hire someone in a week, all the good HC positions are gone, and Fangio gets pissed and makes so much noise he decides to leave. Could also be we've already hired a DC by then. :/

Vic Fangio wants out of S.F. if he's not named the new head coach. Its "rumblings" and not a confirmed report, but that does make things interesting. At the very least we should gauge his interest if he's not the head guy in San Francisco.

Yeah I think he'd make a great guard. I"m not sure you take a guard with the #9 pick though.

Every highlight reel I see of this guy has the same thing. "Watch this guy pull and totally bulldoze a guy 200 lbs less than him!" Also, "look at him late hit all these guys!" Very little film countering speed rushers, and his feet look very slow. Might be a very good guard but I don't see him as a tackle.

I don't know that Spags is the best candidate, but he's certainly better than what we had.

Yep. I watched the Panthers/She-Hawks game on my Chromecast via vipbox. You can stream anything in your Chrome browser to your TV... its a pretty handy 35 dollar gadget.

I'm trying to do the right thing this year and pay for NFL games, so I've been using TunnelBear and NFL GamePass to make it look like I'm overseas while I stream the game. Well, earlier in the season they weren't properly streaming preseason games, but it was preseason so whatever, who cares. Now its the playoffs and it wouldn't stream the Pats game yesterday (not a huge concern), and now it won't stream the GB/Cowboys game (which I'd actually like to root against the Cowboys). What fucking assholes. These guys are never getting a dime of my money again... I'm with BiC, I'm free streaming from now on. Right now I'm using vipbox.biz with two different popup blockers and it's working OK so far. Hope I can still get a refund.

Nolan is a pretty terrible DC, and I thought he was overrated when he was here, but there would be a few positives. 1. He's a handsome sumbitch, and could team nicely with Quinn as dual handsome sumbitches. 2. If Quinn goes, we'll need at least one totally incompetent, yet handsome sumbitch. Nolan fits that role nicely.

2013 showed that when you have a really smart, athletic MLB manning the middle of the field, Fewell's defense can work. People were hanging 40 points a game on us till Beason showed up... I don't think that was a coincidence. The problem is, Beason is probably done... and athletic, genius MLBs don't just grow on trees. Too much reading/reacting in Fewell's scheme and not enough "here's your gap, go attack it." We can surely do better.

Nah, we'll go 7-9 or 8-8 and we can hear about all the great progress that the team made. Extensions for everybody!
