  1. We really have nothing to lose with the way the line has played the past three years or so.
  2. I can't think of one player at the WR position that came back from that injury and played as well as he had.
  3. Best player available, QB notwithstanding. There are so many holes on this roster you can pick any position you like and say we need an upgrade.
  4. Its like I've been saying... we're not a player or two away from being competitive, its more like six or seven. Jerry Reese's four years of shit drafts are going to amount to at least for years of average-at-best play. I'm not sold on Williams at RB either. He has all the physical talent in the world, but is deficient in the most important area a back needs... vision.
  5. LOL. "Johnny Football," baby! This dude has Ryan Leaf written all over him.
  6. Randle benefitted from some horrible defenses more than good play. He still doesn't run good routes, doesn't time his jumps well, and doesn't catch with his hands. People that think he played well are the same people that thought Stevie Brown was a good player a few years ago, and Brown WAS good except for coverage and run support. =/
  7. Funny... I had no idea she had passed from that other thread, "R. I. P. Ann Mara."
  8. I think Coughlin should play Beckham no matter what. Pulled hamstring, bad knee, gimpy foot... just play him, you IMGRATE! In year four, Beckham can catch maybe 40 passes for 600 yards, and then become a nobody for the Colts.
  9. Beckham probably had incentives in his contract too where he made a bonus for playing in the Pro Bowl.
  10. Whoa, whoa, WHOA... Jerry Palmieri has sucked for Coughlin for nearly twenty years! Twenty years of leading the league in injuries! You don't just throw someone out on the street that shows that kind of loyalty.
  11. He's in that conversation, but only by those who think stats are more important than rings. He's definitely a first ballot HOFer though.
  12. I think there was cheating involved this year in regards to JWill. Anytime an announcer said, "their best cover linebacker..." a TE or FB swing pass went for 20 yards against him. We need to investigate.
  13. I just think Coughlin's the kind of guy that once he's been kicked in the nuts enough, he stops bending over backwards. Hill was a nice player for half a season but who wants to wonder if he's going to hit the field?
  14. Right? I mean, Harbaugh won but seemed like a total douche... what's the deal here? Fox seems like a pretty amicable guy.
  15. I think that might be a foregone conclusion. This team has so many holes it'd take a great draft, solid free agent class and a healthy season for a sniff at the playoffs. People think we're a player or two away but it's really more like six to eight players away.
  16. The only person I have a personal beef with on the boards is GolfingGuy. I walked my ass all the way over to meet him at gate C and that fucker didn't even buy me a beer. And then... AND THEN he has someone take a picture of us and I'm on my bad side! Can you believe that shit? If I ever see that guy again, it's on.
  17. ...and can work again in 2016!
  18. I heard something on the radio the other day that basically said he's had one healthy season of the last four. I think we need some help there, or at the very least quality depth.
  19. I didn't watch the game, but I checked online and weren't they up by something like 2 TDs with 3 minutes to go AND the ball? How the fuck did they blow that one? The headline was something like, "Wilson throws his 4th INT as Pack likely sinks Seahawks' chances."
  20. Man, I have no idea where the JaQuain Williams love comes from. He's a terrible, terrible player.
  21. JPP can have an incentive-laden contract that pays him a base salary similar to Michael Bennett, or I'd be OK if we franchise tagged him ( though I'd argue he just had his "show me" season and didn't do much when it mattered), then offer Rolle a reasonable contract, just because we literally have nobody else there. Ditto for Hynoski I'd let everybody else walk; all of those other guys are either marginal players or flat-out bad ones. The fact that James Brewer and JaQuain Williams have actually played out their rookie contracts is a testament to how fucking horrible Reese's drafts have been.
  22. I love how his first two answers are literally mumbles. Gonna be a long season in San Francisco next year. Its like he's trying to pull of a Belichick but he's more Ray Handley.
