  1. I'm not sure if he lost interest as much as Coughlin ran him into the ground.
  2. No, but I also don't remember a Giants team where I had questions about every position sans quarterback. I also forgot to mention we have no starting TE.
  3. I feel like we have a shit ton of question marks. OL - which Will Beatty shows up? Can Richburg be an effective center? Will Jeff Scharz actually play this season? Who is the LG? WR - pretty much anybody not named Odell Beckham is a question mark. I'm not a believer in Ruben Randle. RB - can Rashad Jennings stay healthy? Can Andre Williams actually find the hole once its there? DL - Who is playing next to Hankins? Will JPP be the player of the first 11 games of the season or the last five? Will Damontre Moore actually contribute? DB - Who the fuck are the starting safeties on this team? LB - Can Beason stay healthy? Who is our weakside linebacker? ...not for nothing, but that's a lot of question marks. The Giants don't need everything to go right, but they need at least half of those things to go right to be successful. I'm not buying that they will. Bring on the Cowher era, and lets get rid of Reese too while we're at it.
  4. Two torn ACLs is nothing. Get that guy in Jerry Palmieri's strength and conditioning program and he'll play until he's 35.
  5. I always thought he'd be a great RB with the threat to throw the option, but rumor has it he insists he's a QB and wont' do any gimmicky bullshit. Which is too bad, because gimmicky bullshit is really the only thing he's good at.
  6. People don't take RBs in the top ten anymore, anyone who thinks otherwise is smoking dust.
  7. Breaking news: Brett Favre is in a plane.
  8. I'm sure a spanking would have worked just fine.
  9. I think the problem with Tim Tebow is the same that Michael Sam has. He definitely has talent that could be developed, but it'll take a while... and what organization wants to deal with the shit show while they're waiting for a return on the investment?
  10. There's one guy who totally agrees with you.
  11. Yeah, Danielle and Flowers. Two non football names
  12. Exactly. The Giants need so much to go right this year to be competitive. Unless Spags and Reese both pull off miracles we'll be talking about who Cowher will be taking with a top ten pick next year.
  13. Look, if people on this board are allowed to think that Hakeem Nicks was an impact player his last two years here then goddammit, I can think Tomlin was a Cowher disciple. Best coach ever and a surefire 1st ballot Hall of Famer.
  14. Great special teamer and backup in a pinch.
  15. And get this... I made that post while listening to Kyuss.
  16. Nice! That's one hell of a coaching tree (minus Tim Lewis, of course)! I forgot how awesome everyone is who comes through Cowher's system and what an eye he has for coaching talent. You forgot about Mike Tomlin, though... that guy's got a ring too! This should seal it for everyone. Cowher's the man!
  17. Right? It doesn't matter who his QB is... he can go to the playoffs with Mike Tomczak, Kordell Stewart, and Tommy Maddox! Glad to see you're both coming around to my way of thinking. I'll be sure to save you some front-row spots on the bandwagon!
  18. Sounds like another stellar Reese pickup at LB.
  19. I will excuse your puerile jest when you're asking for a seat at this time next year, Tree! Am I not merciful?
