A bears fan came into the NYG subreddit this week and basically asked why we didn't do this to Rodgers. Gonna be a fun game in a few weeks.

I had a look at his film... reminds me of Jihad Ward quite a bit.

I remember people liking him coming out of the draft and me thinking he looked pretty meh. Hope he can turn it around.

Jimmy Hoffa is a real asshole.

To be fair, Collin Johnson and Bryce Ford Wheaton have had some pretty serious injuries.

He's very quietly had a good preseason.

I'd love if he ended up being a productive member of the defense, but let's not forget a few short years ago we were all raving about how Jerry Reese managed to land #4 overall pick LB Keith Rivers in free agency. He's terrible at reading defenses and again, has no real position. Let's see what we've got but there's a reason the Cards only asked for a 7th for him.

I actually think these are fun.

It's almost like it's a really bad idea to draft a small school QB with only one really good season under his belt #3 overall.

I remember when he was in the draft I said that "if he has four positions, then he doesn't have one." I think that's mostly still true. Gifted athlete but he's not very good.

Given a quick look this appears to be English, but upon closer examination I find it pretty sus.

I remember everyone going ape shit over Rodarius Williams and I couldn't figure out why. In the two games he played in he gave up something like 170 yards and a score, had a 37 pff rating, and opposing QBs had a 107 rating when targeting him. Looked horrible each preseason too. It's great that the coaches spoke highly of him, but there's a reason why those coaches aren't here anymore.

We cut ham-and-egger Rodarius Williams and nobody was upset? Don't you guys remember three years ago when he had that "great camp?" I just hope he doesn't end up going to some other team and lighting it up like Marvin Austin and Markus Kuhn.

Probably could have gotten better play out of Ally McBeal.

They really do. Makes up for the head-scratchers in Shoen's first year.

That's true but they're both third rounders too. Reaches both, I'd argue, but you'd hope to get competent play out of a third round pick. These guys are flat-out embarrassing.

But still not good. Peart and Joe Isuzu both look like future XFL stars.

I was hoping to see Thibs come to life.
