  1. I just can't. This is the first year I didn't watch the Super Bowl. I mean, the cheaters vs the thugs? You have to draw the fucking line somewhere. If football wasn't such a big thing in my family I honestly wouldn't watch at all at this point.
  2. Also, those of you expecting production from Randle are in for a rude awakening. He's nowhere near as good as his stats last season when he was impressive against shit teams.
  3. I think you'll all be very, very disappointed. Can't believe we paid market price for a third down back and kick returner when most teams find those guys in the fifth round.
  4. Agreed. The front office realizes that if Cowher can get to the Super Bowl with Kordell Stewart, he can win one with Eli.
  5. He also broke his thumb, and since there's a pin in it there's a good chance it's shattered. Let's not forget nerve damage and scarring to the other digits as well. We'll see if it affects him. He hasn't been great the past 3 seasons or so to begin with.
  6. Well, with Tom Coughlin's stellar track record of managing injured players, I have full confidence that JPP will have all the time to heal that he needs and will surely come back at 100%.
  7. Yep. The first two weeks of the NFL season are pretty much throwaway games. On the other hand, the new CBA restrictions on two a days, hitting in practice, and pads has really reduced the number of injuries on the team. :eyeroll:
  8. Well when you trade, don't you pick up the other guy's contract too? They don't need a lot of cap space if they're freeing some up in the trade.
  9. I was always partial to "Dean Pees" for football guys whose names are complete sentences.
  10. I wonder if JPP is tradable? Maybe get another O-lineman or a veteran safety?
  11. I've said it before and I'll say it again... Parcells never won shit without Belichick. He's the most overrated coach in history.
  12. Mike and the Mad Dog were awesome. Awesomely retarded. I remember the year the Giants beat the Vikings to go to the Super Bowl... they shut out the record setting Vikes offense... scored 41 points... and what's MnM's lead story? "The Yankees are in preliminary talks to bring A-Rod to New York." It was just obvious they didn't give a shit about football and didn't really watch any of the games they commented on.
  13. Yeah, I was never on the McAdoo wagon. He was probably better than Gilly, but his offense didn't really do much for the first half of the season.
  14. I wanted him to stay, but at this point you might want to see what you get for him in a trade. Also, a big "I told you so" to everyone who said he deserved a J.J. Watt type contract. Thank God we didn't open the wallet for this guy.
  15. Holy shit people need to stop with the J. T. Thomas love. The guy was the worst-rated free agent on a 3-13 team. He'll be this year's JaQuain Williams.
  16. I remember saying the year he hot hurt that Coughlin was going to run him into the ground, and that's exactly what happened.
  17. I went Accorsi just because I want to see fishgutmartyr lose his shit.
  18. Sinorice Moss, Ramses Barden, and any other playeer that lost me a dollar to Treehugger.
  19. Get ready for another long, ugly year. A softer schedule will help as will Spags, but Palmieri is still the strength and conditioning coach and there's really nobody aside from JPP from the 2008-2012 drafts to provide quality play. The Giants need about a dozen things to go right to crack .500 this year.
