Speaking of Brunell, Jacksonville still hasn't replaced him. Eli might not set the world on fire but he's a good, competent NFL quarterback who's already proven he can win the Big Game. I'll take him over Brian Greise and Jay Fiedler any day.... there aren't a whole lot of Aaron Rodgers' and Steve Youngs out there.

Actually now that you mention it, I think it was about the same.

You can watch the Giants' warm ups before their games if you get there early enough. I haven't seen one in about five years, but last time I looked I remember thinking it was our warm up routine from when we had gym class in middle school. Take what you want from that... they may have done much more in the locker room for all I know... but there were no planks, yoga stretches, etc. that most of the world has been working into their routine in the past ten years or so.

For where we are in the season, I don't think this is a horrible signing. I could live with Brown and Merriweather as day 1 starters, with young guys like Collins being brought in when they're ready.
