  1. He's young and stupid. I've set off tons of fireworks and some haven't gone so well... not that bad, but I've gotten a couple of minor burns. One time as a kid I was setting off bottle rockets outside my room and one came back in and exploded... you'd be surprised how loud those are going off in a house. I hope he can resurrect his career and we're all laughing about this in a year.
  2. That's true, but that Dallas line is the best in the league. Atlanta is contemplating whether or not to sign Jake Long. We have a chance to get to him. If you really want a thrill, go watch that big Jennings run again. Erik Flowers absolutely DESTROYS his man. Just fucking kills him.
  3. Exactly. Around week 7 or 8, Eli will get his 5-pick game out of the way, and then it'll be smooth sailing.
  4. Honestly, it's one loss. We can't hang our season on it. If the team gives away two more we can hit the panic button, but the Giants played a lot better than I thought they were going to.
  5. If we have a losing season I think the job's his if he wants it. He's already tight with the Maras and has a proven track record.
  6. Andre Williams has all the skills, but absolutely no vision. Like, Ron Dayne bad.
  7. Yep. Two guys literally run right by all three of them without so much as a finger laid on them. You can check it out here. I said it before and I'll say it again... that Schwartz was one hell of a pickup... at least he held his block for 1.5 seconds.
  8. Pretty funny how the "Mr. Clutch" and "Mr. Choke" titles are pretty much reversed now.
  9. Watch the Seahawks/49ers championship game from two years ago and tell me that shit wasn't fixed. I could give a fuck about those two teams and used to laugh at people that said the refs threw games but honestlly? After watching that game, there's no way to think the refs DIDN'T throw the game.
  10. The right side of the line still can't run block your grandmother, but overall they seemed better. Flowers looked good.
  11. They kicked the FG to force Dallas to HAVE to score a touchdown instead of take it to overtime with a FG of their own. You can debate the merits of that decision, but I'm sure that was the logic.
  12. Eli's time management was horrible. Somebody said it over in the other thread... when the game's on the line, you wait until the clock reads :02 to snap the ball, you don't snap it with 11 second on the clock. Dude left seconds on the clock multiple times on that final drive.
  13. You wanna see poor blocking... check out Donnell on literally any play he's asked to block.
  14. On the plus side, Flowers was pretty good, Unga might just keep that job when/if Beason ever gets healthy, Prince did a good job against Dez Bryant, and even Markus Kuhn didn't suck (before the injury, that is). The linebacking corp in general isn't great, but looks to be an NFL-caliber one (which we honestly haven't had in about five years). Speaking of injuries, we didn't lose anyone for the season and most of the injuries were pretty minor. Also, Preston Parker looked good catching two TDs but... oh wait, that was James Jones.
  15. I guess we've officially entered bizarro land. You guys are all saying how bad the team was and I actually think there were lots of positives to build on. Yeah that playcall was terrible but the Giants D held one of the league's best offenses to mostly field goals (despite the QB having all day to throw), the defense also made big plays, and Eli was only hit once all night. Yeah the running game is still terrible but lets not forget if the refs don't blow the fucking DRC pass interference call the Giants win. With four very winnable games coming up, I'm actually feeling pretty good about the team's chances.
  16. If the Giants didn't have 72 injuries at the safety position, Cooper Taylor would probably be selling you tires.
  17. Jacobs XLII Super Bowl jersey, bitches.
  18. Agreed. Preston Parker fucking sucks.
  19. In Foosball you only play to 5 goals.
  20. Watch the preseason games. Kuhn is strong but has terrible leverage and always lets linemen get low and into his pads. He's really not good at anything.
  21. The best part is, we have the trifecta of shit: Beason (bad signing) Beatty (bad training) JPP (dumb) Cruz (bad luck)
  22. Jon Beason will miss the Cowboys game with an injury. So between Beatty, Cruz, JPP, and Beason, I'd say 4 of the top 6 players on the team won't be suiting up.
