  1. "Hmm, we're thin at safety. Who should we go after?" "How about the guy we KNOW sucks?" "Smart move!"
  2. He's still probably a better player than our Randle.
  3. Well, then he'll be awesome.
  4. Supposed to be a good blocker which we need badly, and caught everything thrown his way in camp.
  5. I think the Giants will win, but it will be a squeaker a'la the 49ers game a few weeks ago.
  6. Although I'll say this... Whisenhunt leaving the team is a lot of Mularkey.
  7. I don't know if any of you have ever had that but it really, REALLY fucking hurts. It hurts so badly you think you're going to throw up every time you sit down.
  8. Giving up two 6's sounds worth it, until you consider that we might be missing out on the next Matt McCants or JaQuain Williams.
  9. Whisenhunt is only marginally better than Wizdum as a coach. He's a num nut.
  10. There's plenty of blame to go around for sure... head scratching calls by the coaches and bone-headed plays by the players. But I think you're right; Reese deserves the most blame. Take a look at the drafts from 2008-2012. I've said it in other threads... this is when you're supposed to be getting peak production out of those players. But holy hell... just look at those players. But going even deeper, take a look at the free agent classes of the past three years: 2013: 2014: 2015? Vereen and Harris are pretty nice players, but the rest of those guys are all JAGs. Marshall Newhouse? J.T. Thomas? You don't win by taking bad teams' backups and making them starters. Coughlin will take the fall this year, but honestly, I don't care if you're Vince Lombardi... NOBODY could win with this roster Reese has put together. He's the guy who really needs to go.
  11. Honestly, anyone that watched this guy last year knew he had no vision. There were holes there, but Williams ALWAYS goes to where the hole is supposed to be, not where it is.
  12. This is what I saw this past Sunday: At Marvel Universe Live, Loki was trying to put together a team to retrieve the pieces of the Cosmic Cube, the ultimate trophy in the Marvel Universe. He'd had past successes, really hitting on a team of Super Villains back in 2007, but his super villain teams lately were kind of falling flat. He hired three better-than-average villains, the Red Skull, Green Goblin, and whoever the guy is who runs AIM these days to get the pieces of the cube. It was a good mix of experienced veterans and young up and comers. Loki's team was pretty good on paper. The problem was that the Avengers put together a better team with better players. In New York, Spider Man took on the Green Goblin, and it was a pretty even match... but Thor had Spidey's back too. The Green Goblin couldn't coach up his team of ham-and-eggers (Rhino, Doctor Octopus, and Lizard) against a star like Thor. Three menial-to-average guys couldn't beat a Thunder God and good support hero like Spider Man, and the Avengers got the piece of the cube they needed pretty easily. At the AIM headquarters, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain Marvel were taking on the minions of AIM. AIM had everything well in hand... there were flaming whips, explosions, and the heros were defeated. AIM started to take Iron Man too lightly however, and the Avengers were able to pull out a come-from-behind victory with nanoseconds left on the clock. It was a really disappointing loss for AIM because they really beat themselves more than the Avengers won. At Hydra's fortress, the Red Skull and Madame Hydra were pretty incredible dirt bike riders. They were able to do a lot of tricks, and held on to their cube piece pretty well. When Captain America and Falcon showed up though, they were outdone by their insane acrobatics. Captain America and Falcon found a way to win, and the Red Skull, despite having victory in hand, found a way to lose. Honestly, the Red Skull loses to Cap every time. Captain America just has his number. Last they took on Loki. He had a pretty good plan... he got one of the Avengers (Hulk) to sign with him and come over to his team. But Hulk really underperformed once he got there, and wasn't able to take out even one Avenger. Eventually he went back to his former team because he knew they were winners. The Avengers won and hoisted their complete Cosmic Cube, and the team of the Sinister Six, AIM, and Hydra were on the sidelines AGAIN, outdone but bad planning and poor personnel. What did you guys see on Sunday?
  13. Only six months too late. Nice!
  14. What does sinusoid mean? I'll I'm getting from Google is a blood vessel in the liver or a curve having the form of a sine wave.
  15. This team is the same thing it was last year... the best of the bad teams, but not good enough to beat mediocre teams.
  16. This team can't rely on special teams and defensive scores forever. If the offense doesn't get their shit together we're going to be in some trouble.
  17. The Giants have forced 8 turnovers in the past two games. Their offense has scored 20 points.
  18. "I was gonna be a star DT... but I got high."
  19. Plus, he doesn't shy away from contact like a 12-year-old cheerleader and doesn't turn the ball over every fifth touch either.
  20. ...who all average 2.9 yards per carry!
  21. I'd take a shot at him for 2.5 mil. Larry Donnell pretty much sucks... though I like what I've seen so far from Will Tye.
