  1. Probably better at football than Florence Pugh.
  2. Saquon, Azeez, Thomas, Bredeson all ruled out.
  3. Grey looked horrible in preseason. Just throwing that out there. Also, he's slow.
  4. I'm no doctor of course... but the way his ankle turned, it looked like one of those "roll your ankle, but the wrong way," which usually means closer to 4-5 weeks. I do not want to rush him back. He rushed back his sophomore year from a similar injury and looked very pedestrian.
  5. I watched the film again last night and focused on the right side of the line. He's an improvement over Glowinski but not by much. He's very big, but slow footed, leans too much, top-heavy, and didn't really generate much push in the run game despite his size. He's going to be eaten alive the first game where he lines up across from somebody you've heard before. Of course, I hope I'm 100% wrong and eat my words, but he looks like a temporary fix at best. We have no NFL-caliber guards on the team right now.
  6. Would have been happy with drafting him in the 1st. Over the moon to get him in the 3rd. The kid is a difference-maker.
  7. I think of you, but in a completely different way. That's you in your icon, right?
  8. I think you're confusing Darrisaw with Alex Leatherwood. Darrisaw is a very good tackle, probably top-5.
  9. If I hadn't driven an hour to watch this with my parents I'd be turning it off.
  10. Sure am glad we spent all things money on our DTs to get 5+ run on us every play.
  11. Zero points zero sacks. This team is fucking pathetic.
  12. We have not scored a point yet this season.
  13. Sure am glad I can cancel that YouTube TV subscription before Tuesday.
  14. We could have traded down and still gotten Darrisaw, who I liked in the draft but felt was a notch or two below Slater. At the spot we traded down, I would have probably gone for Paye.
  15. I take it into account like this: Who would I rather have on the team... Micah Parsons or Rashawn Slater, or a year of Kadarius Toney, followed by Waller, Hawkins, and Evan Neal? Pretty easy choice for me.
  16. A statement heard many times from Giants fans since.
  17. Don't worry... I'm seeing that fifth-round reach Markus McKethan is getting first-team reps in practice. Help is on the way.
  18. This is the worst take I've heard in a long time.
  19. Yeah I hated that draft. I did think Thibs would be better than this though, and although I liked Ikwonu the best of the tackles, I thought if Neal sucked he would make a good guard... Cross has one position he could have played and looked undersized to me. Season is still early but if Neal doesn't look like an NFL player in the next four weeks or so I think the coaches need to consider kicking him inside. He and Glowinski are torpedoing the offense right now. The Giants should fire their entire scouting department then. There are people who are supposed to specialize in finding quality players after the first. To be fair, this year's draft looks to be much better than last year's. I have no idea what Shoen was thinking with just about every pick from the 2nd on except for Bellinger in 2022 though.
  20. That tequila is undrinkable swill. El Jimador is literally half the price and is a way better liquor.
  21. Joe Shoen really pulled his best Gettleman impression by drafting 3 OL in 2022 that all suck, huh? To think we could have spent late round picks on Jamaree Salyer and Zach Tom and instead we got projected fifth-rounder Josh Ezeudu in the third and projected free agent Marcus McKethan in the fifth instead.
  22. Agreed. In my younger days I felt some kind of loyalty to the team but these days, I understand it's just entertainment and if I'm not being entertained there's no reason to keep watching.
