  1. Dude was awesome. I wish him success wherever he lands, except for the Eagles.
  2. He's gone anyway, but he's been a class act while he's been here. Wouldn't mind seeing him in a Charles Way type of role.
  3. Parcells teams were built on defense. Belichick was his coordinator and constructed those defenses. Belichick won 4 Super Bowls without Parcells. Without Belichick, Parcells never won a playoff game. Again, he talks a good game and is really quotable, but without Belichick he's more Rex Ryan than Lombardi. He's in the Hall of Fame because one of the best coaches of all time ran his defense. His time in Dallas was really unremarkable and it's not a coincidence that Belichick wasn't there for that run.
  4. They might not all originate with him, but you'd think a head coach wouldn't let his team lead the league in injuries for two decades before he made a change. Oh right. Coughlin never made the change.
  5. I actually hope Coughlin goes to Philly and takes Palmieri with him. It'd be awesome to see a third of the Eagles team on IR each year for once.
  6. Why? As with Gase, on paper I don't understand his appeal.
  7. Parcells never won a playoff game without Belichick. Most overrated coach ever. Talks a good game though.
  8. Bleedin posted an article about how Marrone has been average pretty much everywhere he's been. Hope this isn't the case.
  9. Considering both Kelly and Reid pretty much owned him for a dozen years, my guess is they pass.
  10. I remember hearing that Pete Micthell said he was tough, but he'd play for him again in a heartbeat.
  11. Wasn't Owa a 3-4 DE in college? Not that it matters... he's never going to see the field anyway. Why sign Clint Sintim when we already have one on the team!
  12. Lets just see how the Cowher bandwagon works out first. He hasn't gotten an interview yet so I don't want to jinx it.
  13. The one thing we would have to consider is whether or not you'd want to re-sign Ayers if we move to a 3-4. He was pretty underwhelming as a 3-4 defensive end in Denver.
  14. *meant to write "two of the past three seasons."
  15. I think the technical term is actually pain in the ass.
  16. I'd call every single person Chip Kelly hired to monitor blood O2 levels, stretch, make smoothies, and whatever the hell else they did over there and hire them immediately. The Eagles had the least-injured team in four of the last five seasons, and this year they were 18th in the league... on a team that had Sam Bradford, Ryan Matthews, DeMarco Murray, and Kiko Alonso on it. JR YOU IMGRATE SIGN THE SMOOTHIE TEAM NOW!!!!!!!!!!
  17. We must be watching different players. He improved the last two games or so he played in, but that guy was being pushed 2-3 yards back on literally every play. He's horrible.
  18. I'm not sure it really matters since only 3 defensive starters are under contract for next year, and one of them is Hankins who could probably be an All-Pro nose tackle if they make the switch.
  19. I don't get that either. I think McAdoo's horrific red-zone playcalling had more to do with the losses than Coughlin.
  20. Kuhn doesn't pass the eyeball test either. He's consistently getting pushed off the line. He's bad.
  21. Do you think Lovie was supposed to be named "Louie" but the handwriting in the hospital was so bad that the "u" was interpreted as a "v?"
  22. Hopefully his cap number still takes up a sizable chunk of Dallas' money.
  23. That whole 2012 draft amounted to nothing. And yes, Kuhn is that bad. He was literally the worst rated DT this year, and I believe the second worst rated defensive player overall in the league.
  24. Is he small? On TV I had him pegged for at least six-two.
