  1. JR YOU IMGRATE YOU SHOULD HAVE TRADED WITH THE RAMS!!!!!!!!!
  2. I'm never going again. Between the three of us, it cost me almost a grand last time to attend a football game.
  3. Two torn up knees? JR YOU IMGRATE SIGN EASLEY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Not for nothing Wolf, but this reminds me of that time scientists told us that butter was bad for you, so eat margarine... oh wait, margarine is actually bad... no wait, it's butter... no wait, it's margarine. I'm not an expert on workouts by any means, but I can tell you from experience I had a lot more pulls, strains, etc. back in my 20's when I didn't properly warm up, cool down, and stretch than I've had in my 30's when I've done all of that. I have a funny feeling the "experts" will be telling people to stretch again pretty soon.
  5. I thought Molly was ecstasy. I must be getting old.
  6. I hope you're right Nas but I'm not holding my breath. Didn't Robinson lose his job last year? The biggest problem with a weak LB corps... and I haven't really been clear about this... is that your MLB is usually the "quarterback of the defense." He gets guys lined up, he calls the defensive audibles, etc. We haven't really had one of those since Pierce, though Blackburn was at least serviceable.
  7. I called it before he was drafted. He had "mess" written all over him.
  8. It's not like I'm asking for Taylor, Banks, and Carson. I'd be happy with Jessie Armstead or Antonio Pierce. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for one guy in an entire unit that's not a career backup.
  9. I'm also reading that Jack is #5 overall. WTF? They weren't even a blip on the radar in the 90's....
  10. I see a lot of people listing Pink Floyd at #10 for the greatest band, but I think they're the #1 best rock band of all time. Could anybody give me a solid reason they'd drop to #10? I don't see it.

    Kuhn

When Kuhn gets cut, I'm bumping this thread. Actually, I'm going to bump this thread every time someone sings the blues about a marginal (at best) player being cut from the Giants. If only Kuhn had been let go before Hakeem Nicks, Travis Beckum, Kevin Boothe, Jerrel Jernigan, Jacquian Williams, Keith Rivers, Mike Patterson, etc....
  12. Last Super Bowl we won, the starting linebackers were: Mathias Kiwanuka Michael Boley Chase Blackburn Not for nothing, but the worst of that group is better than the best of this current group. As stated Kennard might become something if he can stay healthy but the fact that we're trotting out Robinson and who-the-hell-knows at weakside backer is pretty damning. I know we have holes to fill all over the roster but I don' t think one NFL caliber player is too much to ask of your GM.
  13. If we hadn't gone into camp with J.T. Thomas and Jonathan Casillas... and had to suffer through Aaron Curry, Keith Rivers, Jameel McClain, etc. I'd agree with you. However, Reese has a track record of this kind of signing, and they're almost always bad. I mean, c'mon... this team at one point had Keith Rivers, Mark Herzlich, and Spencer Paysinger as STARTING linebackers. When is Reese going to take this position seriously?
  14. yeah that's fair. I think Kennard could be really good if he could stay healthy.
  15. Our newest linebacker. I have to say, the most troubling thing about Reese is that he doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes. We've been limping by on third-rate LBs for the past ten years and instead of signing, I don't know... somebody that's an NFL caliber player, we're getting Kelvin Sheppard and Keenan Robinson. Even when we were winning Super Bowls, we had guys like Antonio Pierce and Michael Boley... not great, but passable. We don't even have a Chase Blackburn on the team right now.

    Kuhn

I didn't get to see every game last year but the ones I saw had Kuhn getting pushed 5 yards off the line and being nonexistent in the pass game.I don't love PFF either but this guy wasn't passing the eye test. It's great that sometimes he got a double team but it's not like he was beating them, and I'm not sure having an extra lineman that has to block somebody is a "skill." Anybody can draw a double team when you have the worst D-line in football.
  17. Clady to the Jets for a fifth.

    Kuhn

Skills like what? He was literally the worst DT in football last year.

    Kuhn

Exactly. There are all kinds of fun facts about Marcus Kuhn. This guy probably won't even make it TO training camp.

    Kuhn

The difference is,the Patriots will know how to use him properly. Kuhn is strong as an ox, and can carry three times the Gatorade of a normal player.
  21. I wasn't a fan of Whifflock either. Every time that guy would lead block I'd hold my breath.
  22. A few guys out there that I think can still help at the right price: Anquan Boldin Reggie Nelson Walter Thurmond Should we make a lowball offer?
  23. Sounds like that unstoppable trio of Herzlich, Williams, and Paysinger from a few years ago.
  24. He and Barney Frank are a powerful 1-2 punch to businesses.
