  1. Sports reporting 2015: BREAKING NEWS: The is a video of Dez Bryant in a parking lot doing something.
  2. Dude is a stud on the strong side.
  3. I think Richburg has been pretty good too. Pugh is a bit hit or miss. He seemed to do pretty well against Aaron Donald this past weekend, but three weeks ago was destroyed by Linval Joseph.
  4. He at least can make something happen after the catch. Donnell either goes down on first contact, jumps, or fumbles. Neither guy can block. At the end of the day, both these guys are third-stringers on other teams.
  5. I'm just not sure I've ever seen a LESS physical player than Donnell... which is fine if you're a WR who runs a 4.3 40-yard dash. TE isn't that position though; you need someone who at least isn't afraid to take a hit at a bare minimum. This guy is a 270 lb pussy. Enough already; let's get at least an average player in there.
  6. Can we fucking cut this guy already? You mean to tell me there's seriously not a guy out there on the scrap heap that can block and catch better than this guy?
  7. I'd lose my job over it. Why not Josh Brown?
  8. It was a nice win... but this is a 7-9 team. Don't get too excited.
  9. The Cowboys are gonna run away with the division, and it's not gonna be close. Their schedule is cupcake soft for the rest of the year.
  10. To have a career after football, you can't just be a great player. You have to also be an asshole. Just look at Randy Moss vs Reggie Wayne. Just watch Deion Sanders, or Michael Irvin, or Warren Sapp. Shit, how many shows has Dick Sherman been on since he totally lost his shit on the playoffs? Odell is being smart.
  11. This. Our line can't run block very well. It's great that Mac has started doing more traps and pulls with them, but this is a finesse line through and though. Ask them to do in-line blocking and they're blown 5 yards off the ball. At the end of the day, these guys are C+ to B - players. There's not a real blue-chipper on that line, except maybe for Richburg.
  12. Yeah it lets you watch replays of the games all season long. It was 99 bucks for the year but I saw last week they're having some kind of special deal on it... might be cheaper now. Didn't really want it but we tried the free sample this summer and then forgot to quit... d'oh!
  13. Every year, the officials can't get calls right. Every year, the Seahawks interfere with receivers 20 yards downfield and don't get penalized for it. One of these days, I hope things even out.
  14. I did. I have NFL Game Pass but my feed on Wiziwig was going down every 5 minutes anyway, so I didn't really have a choice. I'm going to watch it with the boy tonight (he was chomping at the bit last night to see the game, but Game Pass doesn't post 'em till the next day).
  15. Well... the Giants DEs can't beat second and third team tackles so... I'll take it.
  16. I kind of feel like the only guy who can stop Odell... is Odell.
  17. That play was a designed rollout. There isn't a defender within 5 yards of him when he makes that pass. https://youtu.be/8kPwaGjp3uI My son wanted to watch the game tonight so we did, and I decided to count the number of times Rodgers was pressured. I came up with about six times. That's not acceptable for what we're paying. Let's put it this way: if you showed a stranger that game and said, "one of these teams spent 90 million on their pass rush this offseason" and made them guess which team, not many would guess the Giants.
  18. And not for nothing, but if hurries were so great you'd think we'd have more than two turnovers after five games.
  19. They created one. The other one hit the receiver directly in the hands and was deflected to Jenkins. Sacks create turnovers too, and we aren't getting our money's worth.
  20. Again though... sacks change the game, not hurries. At some point you have to stop making excuses. Being number one in hurries is like saying you're the best at almost making a play.
  21. I think your points are all valid... but I've said it before in regards to this team... after a while you want to stop hearing excuses and start seeing results. 4 sacks in 5 games is not acceptable.
  22. Can't say I disagree with anything in this article. I have to admit... I can't remember the last time I thought the season was over at week 5, but I'm like 90% sure the season is over. I'll probably watch the game until I know they've lost (this week I'm guessing they'll hold out till the third quarter), but I'm definitely not going to bail on other plans to watch the Giants like I've done in seasons past.
  23. Sure! 1. He'll provide a stable element to the team. 2. He knows the Maras. 3. He can win with shitty rosters. 4. His brand of football is Giants football. 5. He won't hold on to coaches that suck because they're "his guys" or whatever.
  24. All joking aside though, does McAdoo have Aspergers or something? That only works for Bill Belichick.
