  1. I'd like to see RG3, if for no other reason than to have him run the scout team as the mobile qb we can never defend against.
  2. How about "Fluker the Puker?
  3. Probably a slightly worse player than Newhouse but with more upside in theory.
  4. Yes! That's four Giants first downs right off the bat!
  5. He's a JAG. Dude was supposed to be a backup before our entire Oline went down in the preseason two years ago.
  6. With the porn stache Micky-Doo is sporting, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a sexual fetish after all.
  7. I haven't really seen him play, but everything I've read says Fluker is flat-out terrible.
  8. JPP is still tough to figure out. He's another guy that we still don't really know what we have, despite him being here for five years. Is he an 11-to-16 sack monster, or the guy who misses 5 games a year and gives you 4-8 sacks? He's definitely a great run stuffer. I don't know that Wynn and Okwara can give you what JPP does yet. I can't really fault Reese for tagging him, but I can't say it was a great move either.
  9. That's fair, but we might sign or restructure him still. We'll have to see. None of the LTs on the market set my world on fire anyway. Clady might still be an option but you may only get 5 games out of him. And how bad is Will Beatty? He couldn't even crack the starting lineup with Flowers playing like Ereck Flowers.
  10. Not for nothing, but there was no blocking TE on this team last year, no fullback, and our offense was terrible. Yes, our offense... if not for the phenom that is Odell Beckham JR turning five yard slants into 70 yard TDs, we probably would have been bottom-5 in that category as well. We can't afford a top shelf LT, but we can afford a TE and fullback. I'm not going to fault the team for signing players that can block over the Will Tyes and Larry Donnells of the world. Yes, we still need help at Guard and RT, but if we can fix three positions for the price of one in regards to run-blocking, I'm totally OK with that. If we can somehow land TJ Langford I'd be downright giddy with the pickups this offseason.
  11. Anybody confirm his blocking ability? I saw it was a 62 from PFF. Is that good?
  12. Hope he wins the Super Bowl next year if the Giants aren't in it.
  13. I'll have to take another look. He also might be one of those guys that is great in shorts and a t-shirt but is a different type of player with the pads on.
  14. Great signing. This really rounds out the WR corps at a great price. Finally the big weapon Eli could use in the red zone. Odell - Marshall - Shepard might be the best set of receivers in the league. Definitely top-5. If we could get Anthony Fasano to help seal the edge in the run game I'd be totally stoked.
  15. Hankins is a good run-stuffer, but he's not the athletic 3-technique you need at that position. We already have Snacks, so Hankins will probably walk.
  16. Bavaro was a superhuman TE but I think he only lasted 5 seasons with us.
  17. This. Kid does all the little things right.
  18. That's fair, but while his sack totals are respectable, he's arguably the best DE against the run in the league, not just a situational pass rusher type. It's not sexy for the stat sheet, but that dude was pivotal for the run D.
  19. Tye is a weird player. He's not very fast, and he looks big but can't block. And yet, he always seems to make the first tackler miss.
  20. I think when he's healthy, he's a top-5 DE... but again, he's going to miss six games a season every year.
  21. When he's healthy I really like him too... he's just hardly ever healthy.
  22. Sad to see Jenkins go. It was always better for Eli's passing stats to start in a second-and-13 hole.
  23. I'd like to keep JPP, but again... he's hurt for at least six games a season. I don't think you break the bank for that, and you definitely don't cut arguably your best corner on the team to accommodate that.
  24. Half a million bucks for a guy who's spent 95% of his career in the trainer's room. I'm in the wrong line of work.
  25. Been watching highlights of this kid. Love his speed and vision, seems like a smart kid... but he's got really stiff hips. He'll need a hole to run through in the pros, and our team doesn't exactly have road graders on the line.
