  1. Ebron is NOT a good TE. In fact, he's widely considered a bust. Not the LB's fault on the touchdown... that was our fantastic ballhawking free safety who keeps tracking the ball poorly... but there were a number of other passes in the flat that should have been covered that weren't.
  2. Branden Albert or Will Beatty worth kicking the tires on? Nick Mangold if he'd play Guard? Trade for somebody?
  3. This. It's been this way with Giants pass rushers for like 4 years. Did you notice the strip sack though? That's why the "well, hurries are as good as sacks" argument is BS.
  4. Not a football name. We should have known better.
  5. Forrest Lamp was the future. So was TJ Ward, and Josh Sitton, and Ronald Leary and Mitchell Swartz. Unfortunately, 2007 Draft Legend Jerry Reese and Offensive Genius Ben McAdoo decided the guys we have were adequate, and we really, really needed Brandon Marshall and Rhett Ellison (not to mention Evan Engram and Dalvin Tomlinson). To be fair, Tomlinson should end up as a great player under Bill Cowher. Engram doesn't really seem like his kind of TE though... maybe shop him for a 3rd?
  6. I have no idea how to fix this line. We have two average-to-good players likely to leave, and three bad ones likely to stay.
  7. Exactly. Remember that time I said we should've signed Gerald Hodges? THIS is what I was talking about. Another mediocre TE ate us alive last night.
  8. I think Chuck said it in another thread... he's obviously terrible... WHY aren't they giving him some help over there?
  9. I think that article I posted a few days ago really nails it. The front office is too stubborn. Reese thought his draft picks on the O-line would pan out. None did besides maybe Pugh. Most teams build around an aging QB with a power O-line and running game, and draft/gameplan accordingly. McAdoo thinks he's smarter and knows better and did just the opposite (as did Reese). Horrible decision. Most 38 year old QBs can't huck the ball 40+ times a game for 16 weeks, especially when they're getting killed every third play. There's no way to right this ship, no quick fix. I predicted we'd go somewhere around 8-8 but we may actually be worse than that by the time January rolls around.
  10. 100% this. Say what you want about Eli, but he always takes the blame. MacAdoo could learn a lesson or two from him.
  11. "Wow, sure am glad I went to sleep at the start of the third!"
  12. What's hulu live? Live local TV? How much?
  13. This is another big reason I was pushing for Forrest Lamp in the draft. Yeah, I know he's injured in that terrible LA training program but aside from how terrible our line already is, our best lineman and arguably second best lineman may both walk in the offseason. Would have been nice to have a guy there than can play Jerry's position and either of the other two guys'.
  14. Can the Giants set the record for most sacks fiven up in a game?
  15. Yeah they're terrible. This line is at least as bad as the one in Coughlin's last few seasons.
  16. There's Orleans Darkwa making something happen again. Time to bench him?
  17. Missed a lot of the game... saw the Ebron and Engram tds. Is Flowers hurt?
  18. See all those Eric Ebron plays? That's why having two NFL caliber linebackers is a good idea.
  19. This line is hysterical. Four guys on their backs around Eli... and Justin Pugh five yards up the field sustaining his block. Every play.
