I have to admit though, I'm mildly intrigued by Cap Capi.

Can somebody get a memo to this asshole that this isn't a fantasy football team?

Would love to see him in action but again... he's got that Andre Williams look to me. I'm not sure his running style will translate well to the pros, but hope I'm wrong.

That's fair. My analysis is really more of a gut feeling. Case in point: we have terrible backs. Why is Gallman not getting a chance?

I don't mean as far as running style or body type, I mean, "fourth round pick who doesn't contribute."

Also Pugh and Richburg are hitting free agency. Almost makes you think we should have gone after Lamp and Cunningham like some of us on here wanted. Gonna be a great time getting a whole new interior line and LB corps next year.

I said the same thing in the game day thread. Costly turnovers. Shanked punts. Missed tackles/assignments. Sticking with what's not working. Getting beat on 4th down. Really dumb penalties. No run defense. They're doing all the things bad teams do.

The Giants have the worst rushing defense in the NFL. They have the lowest average rushing yards per game at 48.7 yards/gm. So much for "it's a passing league!"

This. We pretty much the exact opposite of what you do when you want to have one last run with an aging QB... build the line and the running game. It didn't really matter if we had won the game yesterday. Eli's arm is going to be finished by November, if he survives that long.

The Giants are doing all the things bad teams do.

I wonder about this too. I think we're stuck with McAdoo for at least another season, barring something catastrophic like 4-12. This window is pretty close to closing; Odell has two years left on his contract, Eli three (I think) and most of the stars we signed on defense are here for another two years after this one. We need a mauling O-line and power running game (or at least some kind of running game) to compliment the defense if we want to have any hope of winning a third Lombardi with Eli. Pretty much seems like Football 101 to me; not sure why the front office isn't getting it. I guess we'll see.

Let's just keep it real... Killdrive sucked his last four years here too. Three guys running fly routes... one guy running a crossing pattern... every... single... play...

The thing is, how long will it be before the team starts seeing MacAdoo's inconsistencies with his criticism? He's got no problems throwing Eli under the bus but what exactly has Mac done for the team? And is Ereck Flowers and the rest of the O-line EVER going to receive any criticism? I think the human turnstiles on the line MIGHT be contributing to the losses more than our two time MVP quarterback. This guy is berating the man who brought two trophies to the Meadowlands... I think he's going to find out real quick that blaming the losses on Eli is a bad idea in the realm of public opinion. Not for nothing, but this guy made his bones as Aaron Rodger's QB coach. I would probably look pretty good as Aaron Rodger's QB coach. Let's see what happens from this point until the end of the season.

I honestly don't get to watch too many Lions games, so I'm pretty much going on PFF grades and fantasy numbers, both of which are bad. But to put things in perspective, 87-year-old Jason Witten sure looked good catching that TD two weeks ago... something I've been saying for ten years. At some point we'll have a GM who thinks linebackers are a worthwhile unit on the team, possibly sooner than later depending on how this season goes.

It's not so much he ignored it as much as his picks and free agent signings were terrible.

Refusing to build around an O-line and running game... making a right tackle your starting left tackle. Dude... do the Giants think it's Opposite Day?
