  1. Yeah I totally don't understand the Kirk Cousins love.
  2. Yeah that would really be a pretty solid line. Light years ahead of last year's line.
  3. John Sullivan. I remember a few years ago he was pretty good, but injuries derailed his career. Supposedly had a pretty healthy season with the Rams though. EDIT: Just checked and PFF had him as the #10 center last year. Not bad.
  4. Omameh is 3 years, 15 million. Graded out at 53.6 as per PFF, good for #36 among guards. Fluker graded out at 43.3, #56 among guards, and cost 3 million last season. It sounds like we got more or less market value for him, though I agree he doesn't excite anyone or sound like a world-beater. Might be a "hold the fort" kind of guy until we can get some mid-round talent ready to start. Or again, might be a Gettleman diamond in the rough.
  5. "It's not all about money, but I asked for my release when they told me I'd be making less money." Translation: it's all about money. Don't think he's coming here.
  6. Fun Fact: He was named after Phil Simms, whose number was "11."
  7. It's not a matter of his measurables... I read the headlines of the things coming out of his mouth. Kid thinks he's King Shit of Turd Island and he hasn't actually done anything yet. He's not a Giants/Mara/Gettleman kind of guy.
  8. Jimmy Stewart is a better RB than Jonathan Stewart. On a related note, Mr. Potter is a better blocker than John Jerry too.
  9. No way in six billion years Baker Mayfield ends up on this team.
  10. They said the same things about Shaun O'Hara, Rich Seubert, and Kevin Boothe. This is a Gettleman pick.
  11. If you mean "overpriced and underproducing" you'd be correct.
  12. I'd love it. I've been asking for a mauling, road-grading guard literally since 2012.
  13. Solder-Sitton-Jones-Someone-Flowers actually sounds pretty decent. Pick up some mid round OL guys to develop and suddenly we might actually be OK on that unit.
  14. Hyde is trash, honestly. He'll have 2-4 eye-popping games per year then disappears for the other 12.
  15. I'll take it. A line of Solder-Somebody-Jones-Somebody Else-Flowers is still better than last year's line.
  16. How about this? Josh Sitton on a three-year deal with a voidable third year. Take a shot on Cameron Fleming on an incentive-laden deal. Draft Nelson or trade down and take McGlinchy, or wait and nab Hernandez in the second. I know all three probably aren't possible, but I'd take two of those or one at the least.
  17. There's always someone in our fantasy football league that buys the annual Jonathan Stewart hype and takes him in the fourth round. He's usually back in the free agent pool by week 6. He's just not a good player, fantasy or otherwise. Unless none of his contract is guaranteed, I have no idea why you'd make this signing.
  18. Another in a long line of average FA running backs that come here and do nothing.
  19. One great season, three average-to-bad ones? I'm not that upset.
  20. Fuck. Well, Nelson will look great in blue too. Plus Gettleman has historically put together great lines with unheralded guys (O'Hara, Seubert, etc). Probably no reason to panic. I think.
  21. Hope he hangs out there in the market for a bit and comes back at a reduced salary. I really like him as a player.
  22. This will definitely be an ongoing story. Not too worried yet but when you put together all the Odell bullshit over the past 4 years... it does kinda look bad. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/beckham-allegedly-brown-cig-white-powder-video-article-1.3866036
  23. I'm hearing this class is really deep at RB. Chubb graded out almost as high as Barkley at the combine.
