  1. Rashad Penny looks like a decent back. He seems to have really good vision and definitely runs hard. I'd argue vision is the most important thing for a back to have. He doesn't seem to have breakaway speed or top-end elusiveness but I can see him being a productive back at the next level, kind of reminds me a little bit of Ahmad Bradshaw. The guy I'm really in love with though is Nick Chubb, projected in the third. Great power, good vision, and sneaky fast. From what I heard, his combine numbers were comparable to Barkley. I know he had a knee injury but to me he looks like an elite player. If he's still there that's a guy we need to grab. I have a chubb for Chubb
  2. I think he meant to put "Gentleman" but it autocorrected to "Gettleman."
  3. It's not just Gettleman's drafts (which I'd argue are better than Reese's anyway), but it's also the players he finds in FA that might not be difference-makers, but don't hurt your club either. With Gettleman, we got the Trumaine McBrides and Sean Locklears of the world. With Reese, we get the John Jerrys and Jameel McClains.
  4. Yeah sometimes I read the comments at the bottom of the articles and the guy is notorious on there too.
  5. Unless I'm being played, Carl Banks is reporting that the Giants are being offered 3 firsts, and this year's 2nd and 3rd from an unnamed team for Beckham. As much as I love Beckham, the Giants would be insane not to do that deal if it's for real.
  6. Yeah that drives me nuts. Madjack and Chuck have always been the same too, but all of a sudden somebody is someone else with a new avatar and you see they have 40,000 posts but have no idea who they are.
  7. People keep saying "Barkley is a once-in-a-generation talent" yet we have Ezekiel Elliot, Todd Gurley, and Leonard Fournette that we've all heard the exact same thing about. There's three right there and none of those guys have even hit their first FA contract yet. Meanwhile, in 36 years of watching Giants games, I've never seen a player on our team like Beckham. In the entire league, I'd say maybe Antonio Brown has a similar skill set, and I'd say Beckham is actually better. If we let this guy go we'll be kicking ourselves for the next ten years, assuming: 1. he's healthy, and 2. he stays healthy. Pay him.
  8. YES! In that picture, he's using the Force to pull all the old players away from their respective teams to his own stadium to die!
  9. On the Giants boards, I was Lockhart, and I was also Dye Job. (Just kidding. I was Taylor56 for a while but my account got suspended for some reason so I changed to my current handle)
  10. I think we'd have a certain amount of dead money ala JPP but I have no idea how much.
  11. That's a great point. Not sure what you'd get for Eli though.
  12. For the record, I think this is a horrible idea. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/giants-wr-odell-beckham-pursued-rams-trade-article-1.3897161
  13. The guy is like, not even a human being. I watched a highlight video of just a regular Notre Dame game where he was pushing a 300-lb nose tackle 10 yards off the line on just about every play.
  14. With two thirds, we could possibly grab the next Jayron Hosely AND the next Jerell Jernigan.
  15. BREAKING NEWS: Jason Pierre-Paul, upon learning that his Giants career was now meaningless, responded by nothing four sacks and 14 tackles for a loss.
  16. What's the opposite of "I likeded it?"
  17. Is there an Xbox available? I'd rather go with that.
  18. Is it fair to say... you have a chubb for Chubb?
  19. I don't think it's likely anymore. If you look at the remaining teams in the top ten of the draft... outside of the Jets that already traded up and maybe Denver... there's no team that really needs a QB. The Dolphins, Bills, and Skins might be looking in the early half of the next 10 teams but I don't see the Giants going down that far. If you're one of those teams, why give away the house when it's likely your guy will be there when you pick? I think this points to us grabbing a QB too.
  20. Yeah, but he has the uncanny ability to hold on every play and not get called for it. Those skills can't be taught.
  21. I keep hearing that Barkley only comes along "once in a generation" but I heard Fournette was once in a generation and also that Elliot was. So I guess it's pretty much "three in a generation" at least, right? I mean, if there's no other good running backs for the next eight years or so?
