  1. Honestly, if I'm Gettleman I'm fire saleing this team on Wednesday. You offering two firsts for Beckham? I'll take it. Eli for a fifth? Done deal if he agrees. Next year Solder, Jenkins, and Vernon all need to take pay cuts or be gone. I don't think we can re-sign Collins. We're gonna suck for a long time, fellas. We're at least 3 years away from being truly competitive. We have to blow up the entire roster; if you're not on your rookie deal you should be gone.
  2. Holy shit this team is awful. This line may actually be worse than last years line.
  3. Yeah he fucking sucks. I'm almost ready to say he's as bad as Flowers.
  4. Yeah I went with Ridley but don't think I'm catching up.
  5. I'd pay the Patriots 15 million to take him back at this point.
  6. Not just that, but aside from the bathroom lines everything is worse. Longer lines to get in, worse parking situation, etc. I don't think I'll ever go back to that place again.
  7. Is it just me or have we ever converted a third down after a sack? It seems like one sack kills every drive with this team.
  8. So far this game: This line is fucking terrible and Solder had better take a pay cut this offseason. Wynn is quickly becoming my favorite defender this season. He's the new Chad Bratzke. Witten is an awful commentator.
  9. Giants have a good enough run D, and the Falcons have no defense to speak of (especially on third down) but a great passing game. For this reason, the Falcons will rush for 300 yards, Giants will hold Matt Ryan to 200 passing yards, and the birds win this one on the final drive thanks to a blown call from the officials. Falcons 28 Giants 21
  10. I need 20+ fantasy points tonight... should I go Tevin Coleman or Calvin Ridley?
  11. Well, when you have guys like this it just adds fuel to the fire. I think Odell is learning the same lesson this year.
  12. Only ONE person can sleep on Eli...
  13. Yeah I think Greco is at least serviceable at center, and Halapio was bad.
  14. So I think we can all agree that the playoffs are out of the question. However, I do think that this game is going to determine what kind of team this is moving forward, and what the rest of the season will look like. Yes, the Giants are awful. They're definitely in the bottom-third of teams in the league talent-wise. However, the Falcons are in about as bad a situation as the Giants are, and maybe even worse. They have a bottom-5 defense. They can't stop the run. Teams keep hanging 30+ points on them. They have something like 17 guys on the injury report... Giants have none (that aren't already on IR). Giants are coming off a long week and have had time to study this team. In short; aside from homefield advantage, everything this game is breaking the Giants' way. If we beat this team, I think there's a realistic chance we end up 4-6 or 5-5 by the time we meet the Eagles for a rematch as we begin to enter the "easy" part of the schedule. There's even a chance this team pulls it together and finishes 6-10 or 7-9. If we don't take advantage tonight, I think three wins is more likely the ceiling, and the team has probably given up on the season already. What do you all think about tonight? I think Barkley needs 20+ touches for us to win this one.
  15. Yeah you'd have to get him to agree to it. Apparently, the Jags' locker room is even more of a shit show than the Giants' one, so that might be a tough sell no matter how much sense the trade makes sense on it's face.
  16. I think it was his shoulder but yeah, he literally lasted one day of practice. Definitely didn't do their homework.
  17. Makes sense for both parties. We get back the third we wasted on our corner on IR.
  18. I'd honestly say Omameh is worse than Jerry. Jerry could pass block but not run block. Omameh can't do either. I thought Gettleman would find at least one Seubert/O'Hara type this past offseason... an unhearalded guy that turns it around in New York, but I guess not.
  19. Pulley graded out as a bottom-5 center in the league last year. Kudos for giving this a shot, but we're likely to just see poor center play now, which is arguably worse than bad guard play.
  20. Pulley graded out pretty badly last year. Greco is decent-to-good I'd say, but Pulley is probably pretty bad. We're robbing Peter to pay Paul, so to speak.
  21. All of that is true, but it does make me wonder if maybe we weren't using those those guys properly or if there was just an overall culture of laziness/failure/etc. on the team.
  22. The Giants have 7 sacks this season, one of the lowest totals in the league. Okwara, Kennard, and JPP have 13 between them.
