Honestly, I feel like there are a bunch of options. Here's the one I don't want to see: "Eli is our starter, and (insert name here) is the QB we drafted in the (4-7th) round that we think has potential to develop." The post-Eli plan needs to be an actual plan, not the shit show we've seen to this point.

If we're doing QB next year, I'd like to see us trade out of the top 10 to grab something this year (maybe a 3) and a 1 next year. That way we can possibly trade both 1's next year to move up and grab the guy we want.

I'll be really disappointed if we don't have some future contingency plan at the QB position this offseason. How long does management really think we can get by with a mediocre 38 year old at the position?

They might both suck, but so far on paper: One has NFL size, athleticism, and arm strength. The other kind of looks like maybe a high school starter if he's from the northeast. One studies hard and shows up early on a team where they used the #2 overall pick on a QB... while the other gets arrested for being late on a losing team where he has a legitimate shot at getting playing time. Sure looks to me like we kept the wrong guy. Shoulda stuck with Webb and drafted that Tyrell Crosby.
