Declining, as evidenced by his stats (which have gone down every year), and b). not a game-breaking player at this point in his career. We've been talking RB stats this whole time... I'll bet you that his stats aren't as good as Barkley by the end of the season...why would I bet that the Giants end up with a better record? The Eagles are a year removed from a Super Bowl and the Giants haven't been good in seven years.

I think you're right but honestly I don't understand this either. I don't understand the logic of drafting a guy so high who did little in college or at the Senior Bowl but looked really good throwing in shorts to uncovered receivers.

He only had 1.5 less carries per game than 2017 and statistically almost identical to 2016. Even by your own metric he's on the decline. Tarik Cohen is not some monster player stealing his snaps... every team has a rotation of backs. Also that video you posted is two years old. He's not that player anymore (at least by the numbers... I don't get to watch many Bears games out here).

I've watched some film on him... some people have him going before Quinnen Williams. He definitely makes some plays but he also seems to get pushed back or stalemated by bigger guards (which are all the NFL is). I think he might be a nice player at 17 if we wanna take a chance on him at DE but I'll be pissed if we draft him at 6... especially if Williams is still there.

Yeah as an aside... why do teams keep giving up first round picks to the Patriots that clearly aren't worth it? The same thing happened with Brandon Cooks.

The thing that's going to really be a bear is what do you do on things like Hail Mary passes, where literally every defender is interfering. Also on replays, what is going to constitute interference? There is a lot of hand fighting and barring that happens that is frequently not called. It's going to take two years or so to get everything straightened out, but at the end of the day PI should at least be reviewable.
