Didn't see the whole game... but the 30 minutes or so I watched in the first half had two helmet to helmet hits by Browns defenders that went unflagged and this final hit was pretty clearly unnecessary roughness that also went unflagged. When that shit happens... you can expect this shit to happen. Look at Odell/Norman. Officiating in this league is fucking terrible across the board. It's literally unwatchable.

Stick with Shurmur the Murmur for one more season then get Belicheat to come out of retirement in 2021.

If the team quits on him and/or doesn't win another game, I think he's gone. If he can string together a 5-11 record and the team wins a few games near the end, I think there's a shuffle of the assistant coaches but he stays.

There's a pass rusher named Chase something and an OT named Adams that are both blue Chip prospects and should be available where we pick now.

If we end up with #1 overall it would be foolish to not trade down to #3 or #4 to acquire extra picks. Another first, third, etc. Think of what we gave up for Eli. We don't need a QB and with five projected first-rounders, we could get a kings ransom. I'd love to see a top-flight LT, pass rusher, and for Christ's sakes can we PLEASE get an NFL-caliber MLB that's an actual difference-maker and QB of the defense?

So who do we want for our next head coach? Let's assume Bill Belichick isn't available. How about Bill Cowher?

The crazy thing is that he had three plays this game... the Tate screen, Tate pick play and Saquon flat... that were creative and went for positive yards... two of em for TDs. Immediately afterwards? Saquon up the middle for-2. This offense is predictable and boring. He's gotta go.
