  1. How about asking Marvin Lewis for an interview?
  2. Could not possibly be less interested in either of these guys.
  3. If Rhule was a swing for the fences and McCarthy was a solid double, I feel like Martindale is a base hit. Jason Garret is a strikeout.
  4. I don't think they've actually offered the job to anyone.
  5. Fucking wonderful. We're going to end up with Jason Fucking Garrett.
  6. On second thought, I think we should be giving the entire Giants front office as many BPAs as we can.
  7. Felt a little more encouraged after reading this article.
  8. My thoughts exactly. He tailors his offenses to fit the strengths of the players instead of trying to get guys to run 'his system" which often doesn't work. Basically does the things Shurmur said he was going to do but never did.
  9. I'm actually sort of afraid of a division with three experienced coaches in Rivera, McCarthy, and Pederson and we get a green coach like Matt Rhule. I wish we were interviewing Greg Roman.
  10. We need so much I'd say BPA, minus QB.
  11. I feel the same way. I think McCarthy reminds me a lot of Coughlin... good coach coming from a winning program, things got a little stale so he spent a year checking out trends and players around the league and comes back a better coach. Also reminds me a bit of the Andy Reid situation (yeah the guy still hasn't won a Super Bowl but at this point I think most of us would take the Chiefs success over ours the past few years). I think Rhule is definitely boom-or-bust. I like him a lot, but if McCarthy is the solid double... Rhule is the home run or strikeout. I think Martindale could also be very good. Harbaugh coaching tree/family, seems to have the right demeanor, very experienced, and I love me a defensive-minded coach. Could not possibly be less interested in McDaniels. In order I'd my my preferences are: McCarthy Rhule Martindale Bienemy Judge/Richard McDaniels
  12. Nobody knows what the details of his contract are. Wouldn't it be awesome if it's also up this year like Brady's contact, the Pats lose this Saturday, and Belicheat starts eyeing a return to the team that launched his career?
  13. Mods, please ban this negative hack. His Debbie Downer approach is really bringing down the entire board and he clearly has no clue what he's talking about.
  14. Also I know McCarthy has his flaws... but Aaron Rodgers is such a douche that literally his own family doesn't like him.
  15. i get a NYG-Dan Reeves vibe from him. When Reeves came here, we had success when Simms was the QB... but not Brown... he wasn't a coach that could squeeze more out of less. His success was largely because Elway was his QB in Denver (though he did get to the Super Bowl with Chris Chandler at QB).
  16. I'd love if we came outta this draft with a tackle and center in the first 3 rounds. Something tells me we're getting that 3rd back.
  17. Solder went on the record this week saying he'd be happy to move to RT to stay with the team. Wonder if we could talk him into a pay cut.
  18. Yep. I wanted Del Rio here in the worst way a few years back. Dude is top notch.
  19. Oh wait, I think I'm swapping Lombardo and Dunleavy. Lombardo might actually be the sensible one.
  20. Matt Lombardo, holy fuck that guy is unlistenable. He's got a podcast called Talk is Cheap and not only is he dumb as fuck but he's an absolute twat to boot.
  21. I'd love if we swapped spots with one of the QB needy teams right below us and picked up an extra 2nd.
