  1. Whelp that'll do it. They kept it interesting into the 4th and honestly that feels like a victory.
  2. Indeed. This is what good coaching staffs do after halftime... they evaluate and try new shit... not run "Saquon for - 2" eight more times.
  3. Hope he looks as good for us tonight as Jedrick Wills did before the injury yesterday. Wills was manhandling bitches... I saw two times he pancaked guys with a club move and got really good push in the run game.
  4. I'm saying six wins. And honestly, I'd be pretty happy with that, so long as by the end of the season there had been significant progress made and the "arrow was pointing up."
  5. Not for nothing Shakes but... who is actually saying this? I thought most of us had the Giants capped at six wins if the season goes a whole 16 games.
  6. Dude will probably end up as a Mark Brunell or Steve Young... go to backup some Hall of Fame QB for a few years, but when you step in suddenly you light it up and have your own career. He'll definitely stick somewhere as a backup.
  7. I don't understand the Coleman cut. By all reports had a very good camp, looked good in the scrimmages, threw many nice blocks downfield and plays special teams.
  8. To be fair, the argument was Webb vs Tanney/Lauletta. All three are are out of the league so I think we can agree they all suck.
  9. I read that Fleming looked very good at camp, with one of the coaches (forget who) saying he was the best one out there. He didn't impress me in the first scrimmage though. I'm thinking he's a lateral move from Remmers. The rest of the line we'll have to see. They looked terrible in the scrimmage... but it would be awesome if that was due to a greatly improved d-line.
  10. I thought Connelly looked very good before the injury last year. Maybe he never recovered? The BBK guys said his camp was very quiet.
  11. He'd be a good pickup at this point. We've essentially lost 4 starters in the defensive backfield.
  12. Yeah I agree. Gonna probably watch it again at some point. Quick and early reactions: The entire D-line looked good, particularly Lorenzo Carter. Conversely, the O-line had some struggles. Williams and Hill were particularly feisty. Andrew Thomas got beaten a few times, but after stumbling early he flashed the skills that made him the first tackle drafted. Very strong, good balance, quick feet and excellent mirroring skills. Peart looked better than advertised as well but also was blown up on the left side. Corey Coleman is making a case for a roster spot. Daniel Jones looked adequate. Wayne Gallman also looked very good, as did Barkley and the surprising Javon Leake. I don't take too much out of this one way or the other, but it was nice to see some semblance of Giants football.
  13. Waiting till 7pm for it to air on Giants. Com.
  14. We'll see. Feels like only a slight upgrade over Ogletree. If we can get Antonio Pierce production out of the guy I'll be happy... however, word out of camp has been quiet about him so that's not a particularly good sign.
