  1. It took him about 8 games or so to get in the groove. For a while I thought he wasn't worth it.. but then he started to shine. He's also a middle of the pack linebacker.. he got his ring.. and he put the best fake on Brady.. man that was awsome.. P.S. I've watched the Super Bowl DVD twice in the past 4 days
  2. I was equally surprised at bleedin's comments. He has summerized my feelings about almost every issue relating to the Giants and football in general.. this is probably the first time I feel he's way off.
  3. You know.. the way I see it our defensive backfield has been our weak spot... Wilson is a good and respectable athlete but he's no Bob sanders. He benefited from our DL more than anything. All I'm saying is put a price on him, offer him that price.. if another team thinks he's worth more, then be it.
  4. He's a middle of the pack safety. If some other team over-pays for him, so be it. Yes we should try to resign him and we are.. for the right price.
  5. I won't be surprised if the Giants pick a safety in the early rounds. And if Wilson isn't a Giant, look for a rookie and M Johnson to start at safety... and I won't lose a step.
  6. That's the point I raised earlier... is that we should first lock up our guys first. Once we know who's in and who isn't, we can now make moves in the FA market.
  7. Not if we resign Wilson and get M Johnson to start.
  8. Well, I'd like to get some other issues out of the way first before landing him. Thinks like pacifying Osi and Stra (I think the 2 should get the same amount as Tuck.. as he's an equally capable DE.... but that's another topic.
  9. What good is adding a pro-bowler if that hinders your ability to keep your other stars? I just don't think a CB position is worth that much.
  10. Eh, with all the money they'd have to give him, I don't see how they can have a solid team... Probably just rumors.
  11. I don't know who this Trufant guy is.. and I doubt he's a QB... nor do we need one. Sorry but I'm done giving up multiple picks especially when you still have to pay this guy a ton of money on top. Draft draft draft.. the end.
  12. I believed he was shockey mainly because I would never accuse someone else of being a liar... and also because I know pictures can fool people... sometimes a person can look bigger or smaller than his actual size... Thanks Seph :brooding:
  13. Smokescreen indeed. When was the last time the Giants were projected to get someone and ended up actually getting that someone?
  14. Well I don't know how on earth any business man can agree to a deal where his organization forks out $29M guaranteed even if the player doesn't play....
  15. Which is fine. I feel he can sign with another team and we won't miss a beat. That's not to discount Wilson but I feel we can always get a safety of equal quality... come to think of it, we may have a diamond in the rough.. named Johnson.
  16. I think he's a middle of the pack safety and I could be wrong.
  17. I can live with this assessment. I just don't know how much of a bargain he was. Some here mentioned the contract was front loaded.
  18. Wow, short term memory anyone? The guy just pulled his weight this season. Just what is this culture of low expectations? And what is it with most everyone wanting to be patted on the back for EVERYTHING they're SUPPOSED to do? The guy signed a contract... he needs to adhere to it. How would they feel if the team tried to take money back when he was invisible?
  19. Because of Tuck. Which is why I'd like for the Giants to keep contract figures confidential... (unless the NFL has a rule that says they can't)
  20. Even the skins won't do it. This is just stupid and isn't worthy of our discussion...
