  1. I don't think it's either. He's not injured. Whatever "injury" he allegedly had during the season should be healed by now.. it's an ankle injury and no bones were broken. And if he was still injured, he should have no problem telling the Giants so.. and they would gladly have him sit out mini camp.. they'd be foolish not to. My feeling is that the organization stuck to their guns.. basically telling him he's in no position to ask for a new deal halfway thru the first one. The "window" to renegotiate is 2 years out or a year out.. but never 3 years. The organization needed to set the tone.. otherwise, you'd have everyone who has a good half season line up outside the GM's office. Ok that was the GM in me talking.
  2. No shit.. he still has 3 freaking years on his contract.
  3. Yea, I thought since the camera was fixated, somone was secretly recording him. The part where he hits wall was terrible acting.
  4. Oh.. thaaat game!!! :brooding:
  5. "The New England Pathetics" lol, I like that.
  6. May I would love to see a T-shirt that relates to the one above.. our should say "Don't fuck with Tuck" and shows Tuck all over Brady
  7. A lot of things definitely went our way this time around... I don't think I'm the only that when Tynes missed that field goal against GB.. i thought.. oh no.. Seattle all over again. It's true that a lot of bounces went our way this time around.. but it was long overdue. I mean Plax playing like he's supposed to? That to me was a big factor.. Our D living up to what's been expected from it all along.. it became clear that our previous DCs were killing talents.. Webster comes to mind. And don't forget that 4th down conversion by Jacobs during the last drive.. before that miracle catch. I can never forget my reaction when we won the SB. It was contrary to any would've imagined.. I was so stunned.. and so emotionally drained that I didn't jump up and down.. I didn't scream in celebration.. it was that of silence and disbelief. Now I hope we continue to break old curses by playing well after winning the SB. And I think we will do that because Defense wins championships. We might've lost Strahan but Tuck is more than ready. Spags will be even better in his 2nd year. I think our D-backfield which has been our weakness was upgraded tremendously in the draft. We didn't lose anybody on the offense... and if Shockey is to come back, then we can look at him as an addition.. not just because he's coming back but because he has something to prove to his doubters. Of course we will be the team everyone is gunning for.. but so what.. bring it on.
  8. Exactly Which is why Plaxico looks like an idiot right about now.
  9. The way I see it, if they continue to live up to what they signed for, then the money will always be there.. when was the last time you saw a team cut a player when he's playing well? If he's not happy with his contract, then he ought to honor it then look for something better.
  10. The way I see it, they should live with what they agreed to sign the dotted line for... it's not like they're getting paid an average Joe salary.. so this whole bullshit about "taking care of my family" needs to be laughed at.
  11. What's wrong with his contract? What these players need to realize is they're stars partly or mainly because of other stars on the team. Individually.. or with another team, they probably won't be the studs they are now.
  12. True.. I didn't think about that.. although i like watching it while sitting on the couch with 32" wide screen.. HD.. instead of a 20" widescreen monitor. Thanks for the heads up though.
  13. I got two.. lol. I've watched the DVD more than 6 times.. then I wanted to watch it today but I realized I gave my PS2 (DVD player) to my nephew..
  14. Yes the guy we signed isn't young.. he's there for a year or 2 max.. just in case our draft pick needs another year to get ready.
  15. Didn't we sign that guy from Jax as an insurance plan? He's as good as Wilson. Strahan will be missed. No doubt about that. However we can always take solace is that Tuck is younger and while strahan was getting old. Well if we do trade shocky which is very unlikely, we'll get something in return.. players.. picks or a combination. I do think Shockey will remain a Giant and will have a breakout season.
  16. Man it's going to feel weird not seeing #92 out there. Not seeing him in front of the Microphone... I already miss the guy. Sorry if it sounds like I'm whining... but I am
  17. I'm not sure we have a great shot. Last year we got hot when it mattered. All it takes is a bounce or two in the wrong direction and our season goes to shit... As long as we're competing, I'm happy.
  18. I'm grown enough to curb my enthusiasm. Yes I hope we repeat but it will be awfully difficult.
  19. I'm not worried. Kavika wasn't all that great. He had a couple of good games then commanded a huge salary. Good luck to him in Buffalo. I think Wilk will do just fine.
  20. It doesn't even have to be a small stadium. Just designate a day where the fans can buy tickets.. first come first serve.
