You're right... they will go after the money.. and I'm sure there are a lot of Al Wilson's out there too. Just look at the guys who left New England to play for other teams... no one hears about them.

It's just a thought that crossed my mind because now everyone wants top dollars and I happened to believe this team is good because it plays as such.. not because we have any super stars. Warren Moon talked about how Belicheck may move to make Cassel his permanent starter and that it's the system not the personnel that make these players who they are.. remember Brady was a relative unknown when he replaced Bledsoe.

So I was thinking.. suddenly we have all these super stars which all command top dollar and it made me wonder, can we hold on to enough of them without lose our dominance? And the bigger question is would they be super-stars on other teams? Feel free to add players who will need to be resigned here.. from what I've seen here BJ and Webster come to mind. Would BJ be as dominant on other teams with less stellar offensive line.. and would Webster be talked about as a shut down corner if our pass rush wasn't superb? The other side of the coin, what players haven't lived up to their contracts? Personally I think Plax is the only one who comes to mind... but that's now.. I feel he's going to come thru in the latter part of the season... the same way he came alive last season. Discuss.

I think the Giants are the best team for him. He only plays half of the game which should prolong his career.

Don't forget about our draft picks in this upcoming draft and the fact that we have Ware and Manningham who are in the farm. I don't want to jinx us or look that far ahead... I couldn't agree more. Not to mention he went into this season with the right attitude. The kid (big baby) is unstoppable.. especially now that he learned to lower his shoulder and run over people.. and even avoid them all together. All in all it's a no-brainer but BJ has to understand that he's what he's partly because those 2 running backs behind him finish off defenses.. so he stays fresh for the entire season... and the long haul. In other words, BJ's body is more likely to break down and suffer more injuries if he was to carry the full load.
