Why? Are people afraid of the Eagles?
Do you guys want an easy route to the SB? I don't. If you want to be the best, then you must beat the best... Do the eagles know us? you bet.. and we know them too... last I checked they lost 6 games this year... compared to our 3 in games that meant something.
I disagree with you JayD. Toomer catches passes thrown at him. He's not looked at as much as Hixon or Burress.. or even Smith. Yes the man is much older now but he has sure hands. He has EARNED the respect he's getting.. and part of that respect is letting him decide when he should hang them up.
I won't forget that the guy spent 15 minutes of his time after practice encouraging me to try out (kicker).. while everyone else were running to the locker room. He's a class act and a dependable player.
97, Initially I felt the same way.. but really.. fuck it. Bring on the fucking eagles. They're a good team and we have to beat them on our way to our 2nd title in a row.. no sense of backing down or wishing someone else takes care of them.
Well, at this point any of us can actually afford not being accurate.. our team is #1 in the NFC and even if we don't win another game this season, we've surpassed everyone aside from the Titans... and their schedule wasn't nearly as brutal as ours.
Nah, i wouldn't laugh at Egg. The cowboys are who we thought they were and I feel bad for eggy and my friend who called me last to officially declare he's not a Giants fan.
And no one is disputing that.. both guys benefited from one another. As much as we'd love for spags to stay, you just can't tell the guy he can't go chase millions.. And if the Giants like him that much then they should outbid other teams.
You mean like the Raiders? Or Ward can commit a felony between now and the off-season, and Dallas will sign him.
Now I do like Ward.. but he's proven he can't be #1 running back.. and come to think of it Jacobs can't handle the load on his own.. his body and his style of play won't allow it... We do have Ware.. whom admittedly we haven't seen enough of.. but he shined out there.
The call him Easy E. And as much as his over-calmness makes me nervous... I no longer worry about time ticking. The pinacle was that last drive in the Super Bowl. I stood the entire time... in the same spot.. staring at the TV.. speechless.. emotionless.. just knowing something great is about to happen. And when Plax caught the ball in the end zone.. I remained speechless.. emotionless... because I wasn't surprised.
