  1. I wouldn't say Will Allen. As a former Giant I wish him the best of luck. He seemed like a good dude who just missed living up to the immense expectations... and in the lights of New York, that can be much tougher. I wish him much success.. just not in the games against us

    hypothetical

I'm not sure the rookie would be able to start right away but if he does, the peirce by definition is expendable.
  3. Yea but this is New Jersey we're talking about... give it 150 years.
  4. My list: Giants Steelers Patriots Eagles Clots
  5. Holy shit, Jack this is fucking brilliant!!
  6. That goes for everyone, Jack... us included. Who knows maybe AP is going to be better than last year... I sure hope so and if not.. life goes on. I'm just not going to throw a man in blue, especially one who was part of the Super Bowl team, under the bus.
  7. I don't know man.. I like Johnson.. I think we're pretty set at almost every position aside from LB for which AP is on the decline.
  8. Re-read what I said.. "I'd like to see what he can do full time"... he's younger, stronger, and faster than Peirce.. whether he has a full grasp our defense is the only obstacle in my opinion.
  9. I'm caustiouly optimistic about our WR position.. I'm still hoping we're able to land a vet WR but I'm losing hope. Our next big landing.. be it via draft or FA should be a MLB.. Peirce isn't getting any younger and I would bet a lot of teams would be picking on him this season.
  10. To be fair, I sure would like to see what Chase can do full time.. He's shown flashes and he covered for AP rather nicely.
  11. Speaking of training camp.. can everyone who's planning on going list the dates they'll be there? I may just head there...
  12. What do you mean you don't get the Peirce support? Has the guy lost a step.. you bet.. we all age. However he's our middle linebacker and he's been solid most of his time in blue... so Philly ran a play where the speedy Westbrook blew past him... and?
  13. That was back in 2002. In april 2004 I had a knee surgery (torn miniscus) and I haven't tried kicking since. The only reason I drove to Albany was because I'd just lost my job in CT and was back in New York working at a deli.. now I'm gainfully employed and I don't think my leg and my accuracy are as good now....although maybe I should try kicking to see what I still got.
  14. Damn.. pass it :spliff: Yes brother, we've come a long way.
  15. I never got a chance to meet anyone.. I woke up very early.. drove all the way to Albany... waited in that 92 degree summer heat for anyone to pass by.. coaches and what not.. Amani Toomer stood there and talked to me for 10-15 minutes while Shockey (as a rookie) just ran past the crowd. Amani told me the Special Team's coach name.. but I could never get a hold of him... bored.. I started kicking in front of the fans against the huge net they'd set up for fans to kick.. and many fans came to me and told me that I should try out.. I told them that's what im here for but I don't know what else to do... As a matter of fact some young kids were walking up to me asking for autograghs.. and I made it clear to them that I'm not on the team.. As you can imagine after waking up at 5.. driving 6 hours... waiting in the summer heat.. watching Matt Brian kick from afar.. I was pretty tired.. I decided to go home... and that was the end of it. Now was I a good kicker.. I would say so.. I used make 59 and 60 yarders during pick up games in Connecticut... I played soccer all my life.. and soo.. it just wasn't meant to be. Questions?
  16. I went to Amtrak.com and it listed Albany-Rensselaer, NY (ALB) station. I hope that helps, if not I can call on my people to supply you with two camels.
