Why would Reese or anyone for that matter get an F for picking a first round caliber player in the first round? We all agree our biggest need is LB... and the ONE LB who would have made sense was gone to Al Davis.. yea that fuckin guy. So we selected on the defensive side of the ball.. everyone agrees that's a .. then we realize our DEs were running out of gas last year.. Osi situation is up in the air... and Kiwi wants to be a starter... in other words.. we needed to pick the best player available and many believe this guy is. We pick 14th tonight...

Yes that Jay Alford. Among other DTs.. not to mention the Giants may just land a blockbuster deal with the skins to get Albert H here... Who knows.. I wouldn't rule it out.. although the Giants will think twice about shipping Osi to the skins.

Agreed. He's a very good football player who had a so-so year under a subpar defensive coordinator... and he was gimpy. I think the Giants keep all 4 DEs in 2010 but anticipate Kiwi testing the FA market after.
