  1. No he doesn't. His throwing motion is consistent.. his accuracy has gotten better each year. Anyone who's played as much as pick up game of basketball knows you have to warm... and as you get older your ass better really warm up. For the record I still like Eli..
  2. no excuses. Manning had a bad game.. oh and he hand no running game either. Eli has a habit of having his best games in fair to warm weather and his game slows down in colder weather.. the exception was NFC championship game in GB... I bet he warmed up a lot.
  3. Ha? Coughlin is known for having hard practices. Steve Smith's injury was during practice in the first place. The rash of injuries can be partly attributed to bad practices by way of warm ups/stretching. When the opposing team is having a long drive.. your QB shouldn't be sitting there in the cold for that long.. his body ought to stay warm.. muscles strateched etc.. NOTICE: Eli throws high early on in games.. and less frequently during the latter part... he's not warmed enough.
  4. Yea.. that helps. we have to make announcements. Bradshaw tries to do too much.. he refused to go down.. and the downside to that is ball gets stripped/fumbles. I think the team could do better without annoucing someone's demotion. The guy had a bad game.. so did Eli.. and BJ... me thinks having 2/5's of your Oline gone can do that to an otherwise explosive team. Thanks Coughlin... it's never your brutal practices that keep producing injuries.. it's never bad coaching that lets Eli sit on the bench during a long drive by an opposing team as though he shouldn't be tossing the ball on the sidelines to stay warm.
  5. Nicks 3 weeks (likely misses Philly's game but I think he'll be back by then). Smith 2 more weeks I think. I'm more concerned with O'Hara though.
  6. That. And not incorporating a more intensive stretching regimen.

    Sorry

still the ball came out. I didn't hear a whistle and he wasn't touched.
  8. Look, I'm aware we're upset our team has gone 0-2 this 2nd half of the season.. I'm aware of our 2nd half collapses.. and the astonishing amount of turnovers... however.. let's keep this in perspective: BEFORE our OLine crumbled due to injuries.. and before the always reliable Steve Smith went down, we were kicking ass.. anyone's ass. Kevin Boothe negated a TD for us against a motivated Dallas team.. whom we could've still beaten. We actually took the lead against the much hyped Philly team.. a stop on that dreaded 4th down and we win the game. Yep.. it's a game of inches... but till we get our starters back, this team gets a pass. We are 6-4 people.. Dallas is 3-7. Shit, we win the next 2 games and we're the talk of the NFL again. Settle down.

    Sorry

Why are we even discussing coaches? Are the coaches playing? Did the coach cause Eli to put the ball on the ground untouched?
  10. Fuck Ashante dickhead.. that scum. He's NOT as talented as people thing... he's overhyped. The INT was Manning's fault because the throw was inaccurate and too low. Manning should learn to aim at the receivers head.
  11. the sky fell when Manning fumbled.. it fucking did.
  12. I can't discount the injury bug. If we lose this game I won't be too upset..
  13. Thanks to this thread I can now add the words "boarders" and "sophomoric" to my vocabulary. Carry you on you infidels.
  14. That's the thing. the injury bug hit us all of the sudden. Other than that a healthy Giants team can beat a healthy Philly team. Having said that I'm hopeful the Giants will pull it off.
  15. In a lot of ways this is the kind of game I look forward to. Put up or shut up...
  16. I think the justification for many worrying about the Eagles is because we're banged up.. royally. The thought of Boothe on our OL worries me a great deal... and that (injuries) is a legitimate issue. A healthy Giants team beats a healthy Eagles team this year.
  17. The dog is being overly abrasive here.
  18. I swear it feels like everyone here is afraid of the Eagles... what are you? Democrats? Man up and back up your team
  19. And that's both the heartbreak and something to build on.
  20. I was lucky enough to have been in the Middle East when during the first 3 weeks of the season. Yes I saw us play a terrible game against Dallas.. which is why I think we'll be just fine.. we control our destiny and Philly is a very good challenge for us.. granted we are banged up. So if we lose this game it's not oh shit here we go again with 2nd half collapses.. more like it's just our turn to be injured and hopefully we get our guys back in a week or 2.. get on a roll and move with it.
  21. We'll be fine. We got a couple of guys banged up.. it's better they get to heal now than later in the season. Injuries are part of the game. The Eagles just got back Michael Vick. The boys are without Romo. We still get Eli. The game against the Eagles will be tough and a good test for us. But you know what.. who the fuck is scared? This is why we watch.. and cheer. The entire nation will be tuning in Sunday night... let's play ball.
