It's a brutal sport though.. no denying that. They don't just use those bodies on Sundays.. it's a grueling season.. practices and travel... and injuries.

We only lost Smith.. let's face it Eli didn't want Plax back and I can't fault him.. Plax screwed us out of a shot at another SB. Smith was too injured... we are where we are...

The Giants had and still have a solid team in the first place.. they got better at the OL.. Steve Smith was already written off at least for the season...Boss wasn't exactly a star.. Just who did we lose? Like I said in another thread I'm excited about your D. I think the Giants have the most complete defensive backfield in the league. And the line is easily top 5... The Giants are quiet because they're pissed.. but I love their demeanor. I watch a vid of Tuck answering questions and you can tell he's pissed at the media crowning the eagles already.

I don't know man.. I think our Defense is going to be ferocious this year. Those young TDs look like the real deal.. and JPP is gonna explode.. Fewel's second year now... it's on... and we will beat the Eagles.

I disagree Jack. The Eagles signed some very solid players... the challenge is to get them to jell THIS season.. and as we know especially in football that's not how it always pans out. Sure we didn't make a big splash in FA because of the cap... and that's because we have solid players we didn't need to turn half of our team over...

Seems Smith to exception to Coughlin comment about the extent of the injury/recovery period. Besides I don't think the match meant much to them.. but maybe a chance to beat that price. The other side of it is.. I don't want to speak for anyone else but I don't "hate" anyone.. not the cowboys.. not the eagles.. and certainly not their fans... this is a game.. and last I checked. it's "for entertainment purposes only"... sure we enjoy the rivalry and the trash talk but at the end of the day "hate" never enters the picture. I once was confronted with a grown ass man in his 40s (dressed in leather for whatever reason) more than twice my size who wanted to fight me because I was a Yankee fan (the jerk was a red sox fan)... I put him to shame in the bar telling to go back to his wife and kids.. of course he backed down when he realized there were quite a few Yankee fans and my friends outnumbered his... oh btw I was 20 years old at the time P.S.
