When he played for us he was excellent.. and he has the record. He doesn't have the same chemistry with Vick.. maybe not yet.. and they have Maclin and Jackson ahead of him anyway.
Due to the angle.. shoulder pads and helmet it can be mistimed and would bounce off the side of his right hand... and when I said basket I meant with both hands not forearms.
No the way his hands were positioned made it likely to be dropped... thank god he held on... between the shoulder pads limiting his arm extension and the way the right hand was facing was a big no no... like I said thank god he caught it but I've always found a basket catch to be one of the surest catches a receiver can make.
The way BJ caught the ball was unorthodox... though it can be fixed in practice... but what struck me is when he started running.. it's like a fucking tank..
It amazes me how fast BJ is once he gets going... he's a powerful running but laws of physics says momentum is a great thing... Am I the only one who saw how fast, big and powerful that TD run was? I mean Jesus Gilbride... let's do that more often..
I guess that explains why I kept feeling down... even when we stopped them and them to field goals I always had a bad feeling we'd lose the game... between them and the refs peeling Vick off the turf.. all I can say is WTF
I agree with you Dog.. what us fans feel is that Eli is capable of playing like he did yesterday and his inconsistency has bee a huge issue... let's see if he can build on yesterday's success and keep it going.
