  1. Wait, is this the guy who Baltimore had to replace with Zeitler because he wasn't reliable? Oooyyy vey.
  2. Wow so we're keeping two FBs. I wonder is that because our TEs are banged up?
  3. The difference is BJ Hill actually can be used in a defensive rotation, and has starting potential (pff rating of 73), versus Billy Price who is a bottom of the barrel OL who, after being ranked the 74th out of 75 interior OL in 2019, couldn't even make the starting lineup on an atrocious Bengals OL who nearly got Joe Burrow killed in 2020. Here are Gettleman's OL moves this off-season: Zach Fulton (retired) John Harrison (formerly the Jets practice squad lineman) Ted Larsen (34 year old career) backup) Kenny Wiggins (33 year old career backup) Billy Price Retain Nate Solder, now the starting RT. Cut your best OL in Zeitler, who signs elsewhere for $4M. The jokes write themselves.
  4. The fact that we're scraping bottom of the barrel OL off bad teams with bad OLs less than two weeks before the season starts is a joke. Gettleman is a joke.
  5. This is a Cincinnati line that nearly got Joe Burrow killed, and even on that line, Price was a backup. The off-season follies of Dave Gettleman and this offensive line continues. We jettison our best OL in Zeitler, retain Nate Solder on the logic that he's a quality backup, but Peart is so bad that now Solder is a starter, we signed Zach Fulton (a garbage backup) who retired, we signed the Jets practice squad lineman in Harrison, Kenny Wiggins...all five of the above are garbage... Meanwhile our LT Thomas who was a top 5 pick looks awful thus far. It's a joke. Is Gettleman trying to get fired?
  6. Trading for backups on a team rife with backups isn't addressing the OL.
  7. He has a PFF rating of 55, 41, and 50 over the last three years, and he was relegated to being a backup in fucking Cincinnati LOL. Fire DG.
  8. The big veteran FAs Golladay, Adoree Jackson, and Rudolph are all hurt, and now it looks like Engram is hurt as well.
  9. The offense looked like the same one from the last 5 years. OL is still a problem, and interestingly Thomas might be the biggest liability. It's also hilarious that in year 4 of Gettleman, Nate Solder is our starting RT.
  10. This team needs contributions from at least 2 of these rookies. Not that the entire season hinges on it, but this team needs all cylinders firing if they want any chance at a winning season.
  11. This plus each of the major FA moves are injured as well: Golladay, Jackson, Rudolph. And we're already down one starter on the OL. Bye bye Gettleman.
  12. The Giants signing injury prone players is definitely on the front office. And now Adoree Jackson, also known to be injury prone, just hobbled out of practice with an ankle injury. The Gettleman house of cards is already coming apart. Serious question. How many losing seasons does Gettleman get before you fire him? He's on track for #4 coming up. Most likely a 10 loss season. "Well he tried to address these areas." Who cares? You are your results.
  13. Every 3 DBs the Giants sign equals an offensive lineman lol
  14. I'm actually looking more at the OL on this play. Notice G Will Hernandez (71) on that play. He did his signature move of spinning around in a circle and completely failing to even touch the defender. LOL So Will Hernandez first starts off going to the right to help block a guy already being blocked, which freed up the LB to rush right the middle untouched ( would've been sacked in a real game).... Hernandez then turns left to try to block another defender already being blocked by the center (while the LB behind him is staring at Daniel Jones). The jokes write themselves, lol. It's going to be a long season.
  15. Message is clear, we should have drafted Slater or Vera-Tucker.
  16. If only Gettleman faced that same rule with the OL....and with producing a team that doesnt lose 10 games
  17. Daniel Jones at the bottom of a pile of bodies? This is actually good practice for what his season will be like with the Giants offensive line. Might as well be considered a practice drill.
  18. I'm not that worried because he's a backup OL anyway, so his replacement is about the same caliber.
  19. Yep. Plus, how stupid does that Zeitler move look right now. To be honest, IF you're going to lose a starter on this OL, the least impactful is Lemieux, who in my mind was a backup/fringe starter at best. The dropoff to his replacement Fulton isn't that bad.
  20. You mean Geoff...Mitchell was the Schwartz brother who was actually able to stay on the field, and won a SB.
