  1. Wait is Ottis Anderson the father or am I wrong here? Someone let me know if I'm fake news here.

  3. Yep. It could be the Giants figured him out and exposed him. Nice job to Graham. Normally the giants have a penchant for turning backup QB's into Joe Montana (e.g. CJ Beathard from 2017, a game I'll never get over, lol)...but this time they made it clear that Hurts may only be a backup at best.
  4. Can I also add, and this may have already been said, but my god, Jalen Hurts is bad. Like not even backup quality. What the hell was that? His passing stats coming into the game were decent (TDs/INTs 13/5 and over a 60% completion percentage, and averaging over 7 yard per attempt). What the hell happened?
  5. Mara will keep Judge regardless. We could lose out and Mara will still keep him.
  6. - Ugly win against an ugly Eagle's team that was doing everything it can to give away the game (4 turnovers). - Considering the 4 turnovers, the fact that this team only put up 13 is pretty pathetic. - The offense was as inept on Sunday as it was with Garrett.
  7. I would just like to point out that Markus Golden has 10 sacks in 10 games so far, and has a cap number less than $2M (plus only about $3M next year). Nearly twice the amount of sacks as Williams, and far more than 3rd rounders Lorenzo Carter and Ximines.
  8. The right move but he's only one of several problems with this team.
  9. Right. I felt more concerned with the fact that the coordinator/coach was almost afraid to blitz Brady, and sat back in zones all night, which didn't work. Way too conservative of a defensive gameplan.
  10. Big 10 running backs....the giants absolutely cannot draft big 10 running backs. - Butch Woolfork - Jarrod Bunch (granted, more of a FB who was beset by injuries, but still a 1st round big 10 RB) - Tyrone Wheatley (he had a decent post giants career though) - Joe Montgomery - Ron Dayne
  11. On the first four, you're dipping way far back in time. Aikman was good by year 3 (was a pro bowler that year), but to your point sucked in his first two years. Kurt Warner was good by year 1 (year 1 of him starting). Warren Moon, yes you're correct. I think the point is, these types of QB's who take until year 4 or beyond to develop don't happen often. They're the rare exception. If you stack these guys up against all the QBs who didn't develop, it's gotta be like less than 5%.
  12. Yeah he's looking for scapegoats. But the buck stops with him.
  13. I don't know who the replacement is. I just don't think DJ is the answer. Generally if a QB hasn't figured it out by year 3 of starting, then they're never going to. The rare exceptions are like Rich Gannon, but for every Gannon, there's 20 guys who just flame out. Also he's not a complete disaster, but he's a bottom third QB in this league.
  14. I've seen enough from DJ. Yes, he's never had a competent OL around him, and Garrett is putrid, but he's not the guy.
  15. There are what, maybe 5-6 keepers on this team at best? This team is horrible.
  16. Friendly reminder that our golden jacket RB has 13 yards on 5 carries, and the $40M guaranteed WR has one catch.
  17. Agreed. I'm curious how this compares to other teams.
  18. My feeling is, if the team loses 10 or more, the GM has to go. If the team loses 10-11, for Joe Judge's fate, I think it depends on more factors, but he's on thin ice. If many of the losses come down to coaching/mistakes as the main factor, then I think he has to go. If the team loses 12 or more (i.e. they go 2-6 from here), he's gone. In other words, Judge has slightly more rope than DG.
  19. As I've said before, we all know where this season is going. We will finish with something stupid like 7-10, but that means 4-4 over the next 8 games...just enough for Mara/ownership to say we can bring back Judge, since the season wasn't a total disaster/meltdown (plus they'll use the injury excuse). Even though that would be five straight 10+ loss seasons, four for Gettleman.
  20. I think Booker knows what he is; he's a one cut runner who needs to go north and south and take what the defense gives...and he does. So in that regard, I consider him smart.
  21. Booker also has better toughness than Barkley.
  22. They're blowing the lid off this Headsetgate scandal, Lol
