  1. Maybe go LB Chad Muma, Leo Chanel, Malcolm Robinson, or Channing Tindall in the 3rd.
  2. Just not Sinorice Moss or Jerrel Jernigan
  3. We're doing what Gettleman had us doing.... talking ourselves into liking the draft pick. Lol
  4. Either way maybe he's our Cole Beasley, plus wr/ RB hybrid?
  5. Rumor's going around that Dean's medicals might be a big question mark.
  6. I think it came out quick because that guy from Minnesota spent like 7 minutes rambling before the producer gave him the hook, in the pick before us. Most likely the Vikings clock ended when that guy started talking, and the Giants started.
  7. The last Giants reciever shorter than 5'10 who played well was 1993, Mark Jackson...for one year....nearly 30 years ago. This totally has Sinorice Moss / Jerrel Jernigan vibes all over it.
  8. Feels like Sinorice Moss / Jerrel Jernigan 2.0.
  9. You mean with Brisker sitting there 😉
  10. Yup plus the Cards are a team already with Hopkins, AJ Green (a shade of his former self, but still), Rondale Moore, Zach Ertz. That along with maybe a 2nd-4th round WR pick and/or TE pick really should be more than enough firepower. Their team had an abysmal OL, and their Center in particular sucks plus he's on the wrong side of age 30, so the pick really should have been Linderbaum for them.
  11. Arizona trading a #1 (#23 overall pick) for Brown is interesting. He's a decent receiver, but is he worth a #1? I thought Arizona could have used an offensive lineman with that pick (e.g. Tyler Linderbaum), since more of their offensive woes can be traced to a lackluster OL. He's also in year 4 of his rookie contract, so only two years left on contract if they pick up the option. I think the Ravens got the better end of that deal.
  12. If they could just pick Brisker, I'd be 3 for 3 in my desired picks for the Giants for the first two rounds. So please pick Brisker so I can keep my streak going, please. My mock draft before the draft: #5: OL Evan Neal (Alternate: OL Ekwonu) #7: Edge Kayvon Thibodeaux (Alternate Edge/DE Travon Walker). #36: S Jaquan Brisker, Penn State #67: LB Christian Harris, Alabama #81: TE Charlie Kolar, Iowa State #112: OG Cole Strange, Chattanooga #147: RB Brian Robinson, Alabama #173: DT DJ Davidson, Arizona State #182: CB Marcus Jones, Houston
  13. I have a funny feeling it's going to be QB Sam Howell.
  14. A few guys who would be a reach, but plausible. May want to trade down or consider these guys in the third round. At this point I'd be looking to the interior line: G Logan Bruss G Luke Goedeke C Luke Fortner C Cam Jurgens (I have a feeling someone is going to overdraft this guy, like the Pats did with Cole Strange, and draft analysts will jump on him, but in the end get a good player) G/T Sean Rhyan
  15. Seph you're 2/2 on the first night!
  16. I'm loving this draft so far!
  17. God bless the kid, but I always get sick to my stomach when seeing these poor kids....a QB pick may make me hurl.
  18. I like this move. It's likely to be under $10M, and he's a solid D-Lineman, on a 2023 team where we're likely to jettison Leonard Williams.
  19. True. Lots of screens, quick reads, and it's like the same 3 routes over and over again. In general, it's tough to evaluate College QBs these days. They tend to run these whacky college schemes, and not as much pro level schemes as they used to. It works for the college game though. The idea/rational at the college level, I think, is to minimize the thinking that the QB has to do and simplify things. That makes projecting to the NFL harder though.
  20. RB Brian Robinson is my real dark horse steal. I don't know why many draft boards have this guy going in the 4th or 5th. He had a decent combine; nothing spectacular, but should meet the speed/agility requirements for most teams. I'm not saying he's going to be Derrick Henry or anything, but I think he's a solid RB#1 for most teams. I wonder if the mock draft people are wrong, and Robinson goes in round 3 or higher. RB Dameon Pierce is another, but I think he's more so appropriately valued as a 4th-5th rounder because in college, he ran in a committee backfield and was never the lead ballcarrier.
  21. Yeah I'm just not seeing it in Willis either. Nor Pickett as well. I think Howell and Corral end up having better careers than either of those two. I don't know much about Ridder but he seems to have some mid round potential.
