  1. It looks incredibly bad now...that's why you don't take pictures and gloat about it.
  2. Definitely have to wait until FA to ultimately finalize draft priorities. One interesting note - the draft appears loaded with pass rushers. Even if we re-sign JPP, I have no problem with Reese picking a DE in the 1st, such as Charles Harris or Demarcus Walker.
  3. Before we talk running back, let's get an OL that can block. If we address the offensive line in FA, I will be more open to a high pick on running back.
  4. D'Onta Foreman? He's also a 2nd round projection. I need to watch more on him. McCaffery looks like a more dynamic player and threat on offense.
  5. All of these TE's Njoku, Hodges, Leggett etc seem to be 2nd round projections...#23 would be a reach, so maybe we pick one up at the #55 spot, or trade down.
  6. I'm very weary about Engram. He's an absolutely awful blocker and rarely plays in-line, has a lean frame, so he's basically a 6'3, 227 pound receiver.
  7. He also didn't post pics to social media...I don't mind the trip, but the pics drew the attention.
  8. I think this arrangement of grooming a future QB is possible on the giants because they don't even have a worthy backup QB at this point (Nassib is gone, and sucked anyway)... so they can draft in the later rounds seeking a backup now and potential starter down the road. This year's draft just doesn't have any 1-3 rounders worth it.
  9. I agree with the premise of looking for a successor, but I don't see any early round (1-3) QB talent worthy of drafting. Maybe in the later rounds; Jerod Evans or Joshua Dobbs seem like guys with the potential to develop over time, learning behind Eli for a few years. Some scouts are also high on Nathan Peterman with a 4th round grade, but I haven't seen him much.
  10. Free Agency and/or Draft Cut Cruz, JT Thomas, Dwayne Harris. That should put us up to $48-50 million in cap space. Hankins: 5 years $45mm JPP: Not sure what the market will be, but to be safe let's say 5 years ~ $60mm. I think this is overpaying, but I can't see an alternative DE to bring in here or draft of his caliber. Keenan Robinson: 4 years $22mm Pugh: Extand the 5th year option @ ~$8.8mm Two starting caliber OL TE: Possibilities include Ryan Griffin, Jack Doyle, Dion Sims - they're all borderling starter/backups, so don't overpay Depth at DB (particularly safety), WR, and LB Draft Priorities Early rounds: OL, WR, TE, and RB Late rounds: LB and DB
  11. At this point, I'll take an LT that at least TOUCHES the DE before he's within two steps of the QB
  12. Is this what the "cool kids" pop culture clique has devolved to? Beiber, Kardashians, and Manziel? LOL
  13. Is that it? If so, I'll let is slide, lol
  14. What kind of life though do you call hanging out with Manziel?
  15. I'm not upset at all by it, nor do I care even about the "optics..." but I would like an explanation: Who the hell willingly hangs out with Johnny Manziel, other than his drunk/druggy sister, and why?!?!?
  16. If Eli's doesn't commit the pick 6, all other things being equal, the giants win the game 19-17 in typical 2016 nailbiter fashion....despite the refs, piss poor OL, drops etc.
  17. I don't think so. He has Blake Bortles written all over him...a few flashes on occasion, but overall will be a bust. Can't win from the pocket.
  18. Not really...he has no OL. But thanks. We'll enjoy our playoff run.
  19. Congrats on the win. Also, congratulations on the next three years of erroneously thinking that you have a franchise QB, lol
  20. Last night (less the refs) was a pretty good representation of how and why this team will get beat in the playoffs, and why this team will not go far. - They'd have to play practically MISTAKE FREE for any chance of winning against playoff competition. We basically lost because of ONE mistake - Eli's pick 6...if not for that mistake, all things being equal, we win the game 19-17. In general, the offense isn't good enough to put up the points necessary to mask such mistakes. - The OL, particularly the right side, simply can't protect Eli in OBVIOUS PASSING SITUATIONS...so when they're down late in the game, in obvious passing situations, DLs'/Pass Rushers can just tee-off. Eli clearly has happy feet and doesn't trust his OL. - The offense is too inconsistent in general to hold on to the ball. Far too many three and outs. You don't need to score on every drive, but at least get a first down or two on occasional drives, and FLIP the FIELD POSITION.
